((Niko-Riko-Rion-Feri-Ako-Nesi))
Niko stood under a lonely tree, watching as the top of the sun broke over the horizon. He stood proud, held himself like a king. He didn't know why, but it made him feel stronger. He stood on the eastern most boundry of his group's territory. Every morning he ran to the east side, it had the best view of the sunrise, and after sunrise he ran to the west. Not full speed, but just ran. He loved to run, and he loved to play. He watched the sun for a while more, and then took off to the west. He passed a few elepahants and a rhino on his run, but payed no attention to them. Riko called to him as he passed their sleeping place, and Niko acknowledged him, speeding by. When he arrived the western edge, he knew by the scent marking the rocks, he stopped and sat down, licking his paws.

Silent black paws kissed the ground, carrying the light frame of the cross-breed easily along the plains. Lavender eyes were squinted slightly against the blinding sun. Sora padded along, heading east for no reason in particular. She had recently escaped from Kotori's lion clan, to her great relief, and was simply trying to distance herself from the bastard. It had been nearly a month since she had heard his snide comments, felt his clawed paw slap against her face. Her wounds had healed nicely, but she swore to avoid lions from now on. In fact, she was going to avoid both sides for her blood- cheetahs and lions alike. So far neither species had accepted her; they either chased her away as hell spawn or took her in and abused her, using her as an example as to why lions and cheetahs should never be mixed. She twitched her skin unhappily, the sun pounding against her white and black fur. One of her familiar thoughts crossed her mind again- of all things, why'd it have to be a WHITE lion and a cheetah? She snorted at the thought, 'Too bad my mother didn't have a color mutation as well. I'd really be a freak then.' She leapt casually onto a rock and sat down gracefully, placing her paws gently and primly in front of her and raised her beautiful head, mouth partially open, and tasted the air. 'Great. Cheetah males. What luck.' She thought, looking around the plains from her perch. Her lavender eyes made the hybrid partially blind- everything was over bright and had a washed out appearance. To make up for this, her sense of smell was phenomenal, and she had developed a unique power- the power of fore sense. She would receive visions of things that are currently happening or things yet to come. She never spoke about the latter skill; in fact, she denied it to herself most of the time. She flicked her tail, the thick ball of fur on the end dancing playfully in the breeze, her ears alert.

Niko looked around for a herd of gazelle or antelope. He wanted breakfast. He scanned around, and headeing abit further west, he found one. The gazelle usually didn't enter the cheetahs' territory, but some herds were stupid enough. This herd was just west. He crouched low in the tall grass, and stalked towards them, his fur camoflauging him. He was close enough to begin his sprint, when he found something completely out of the ordinary. Off to the side, farther away form the herd, was a white...lion? Cheetah-ish creature? Spotted Tiger? He didn't know exactly what it was, but it looked like a she, and she was pretty. He liked white, and her fur was white, with black. She looked pretty, too. So he walked through the grass, until he was distance from the herd. He then stepped from the grass in front of the cat. "Hello."

Sora jumped to her feet in surprise, her lavender eyes meeting his face. "Good day, sir." She replied, fur bristling slightly. What was this male going to do to her? She leapt gracefully down from the rock and circled him slowly, taking note of his muscular body and trying to determine her best plan of attack should he prove violent. Finally she decided that running would be of no use, but she could probably beat him in a fight for she was larger than him- she was built much like a lion with streamlined sides for running like a cheetah. "Beautiful day, no?" She asked him guardedly, lavender eyes never leaving him.

Niko smiled. "Yes ma'am it is. I just got done running, and I was on a hunt when I found you. You're not very hard to find, you know. And, I mean no offense, but what exactly are you? It's not everyday that you meet a creature such as yourself." He smiled again. "My name's Niko. Yours?" He eyed the herd every so often, but mostly keeping his eyes on her face.

Sora flattened her ears for a moment. How many times had she answered this question? "I, good sir," She said, sucking up slightly to stay on his good side, "Am Sora, the cheetah and white lion hybrid." She dropped her gaze and stared at her feet, "No, I stick out like a giraffe, don't I? Well, I gave up trying to do too much hiding. Not worth the effort. In tall grass it isn't so bad, but anywhere else..." She drifted off, following his glances to the herd nearby. She wasn't very hungry, so she looked back at Niko instead, unconcerned.

"So people don't like you much, eh? Hmm, that sucks. But I think you look really cool. I'm sure the others will too. They think the same way I do. I know they'll like you. They should just be waking up now, so you should come and meet them are are six of us now, Rian and Feri just joined us. I'm sure you will get along with all of them." He jumped playfully. "Come on, let's go." He motioned towards the west.

Fear jolted through the fae, but she didn't show it at all and turned to follow the cheetah. More males. Of course, she had forgotten. Cheetah males were social and commonly grouped together. "Six, huh? I'm sure I will get along fine with them." She said perkily, but dread filled her chest. It wouldn't take them long to realize that she was a nobody- good for chasing out, abusing or raping. Her ears remained semi-perked in a lazy manner, concealing her thoughts and feelings. Sora picked up the pace a bit, loping ahead to further hide her dread at meeting the other cheetahs.

Niko could sense that there was something wrong. She didn't like him. He knew it. Niko led her to their resting place, where the other five cheetahs were playing, waiting for Niko. Riko was the first to spot him, Riko called to the other guys, and they all stopped, watching the two of us. A few eyes were on Sora, but the rest were on Niko. Niko could almost feel the thoughts coming from Riko and the other guys. He knew what they were, they didn't need to say them. "Hey guys, this is Sora." A few of the guys muttered some "Hello"s and "Hi Sora" s. Riko was the only one that actually stepped forward. "Hello Sora. My name is Riko. Welcome to our... group. Rion stepped forward as well. "Hi Sora, I'm Rion!" Feri introduced himdelf, as did the others. Niko turned to Sora, and quietly, "Told you."

Sora's muscles loosened a bit as her body relaxed. They didn't HATE her, yet. And there were no immediate threats coming off them. "A pleasure to meet all of you." She sat down slowly, each movement of hers graceful- she made the act of sitting look beautiful. Her eyes took in each cheetah in turn, taking note of each. Her mouth was open just a crack, taking in their scents. From there she could determine their approximate ages and strength. She was rather paranoid for her whole year and a half of life.

Riko's leg twitched, but he knew better than to... betray Niko. He knew that Niko knew what he was thinking. Niko saw, and almost hissed at him, but knew he wasn't going to... do anything. "So Sora, would you like to join us today? We are about to go and hunt, if you would like to come along." Riko told her. "Yeah," Niko added, "you are probably hungry, no? Oh, guys, There's a herd of..." He trailed off as he looked beyond Riko. He could hear the muted actions of gazelle, not far away. "Oh." Riko smiled. "Not much of a hunt, is it, when the meal comes to us, eh?" Riko said to Niko jokingly. Niko laughed. "I guess." "Well, let's go. Niko, you can take Sora and go west, Feri and Rion will go with you. We'll go over here." "Sounds good." Niko replied, eagerly looking at Sora.

Sora flicked her ears a few times, then nodded, a slight grin playing on her maw. "Very well. I am a highly adept hunter. Speed of a cheetah, strength of a lion." She laughed, a clear sound that rang in the air, then she danced away on light feet, tail swinging in the breeze as she headed west. Her whole body instantly went into hunting mode- white and black body lowered to the ground, ears alert, eyes wide. Amazingly, despite her coloring, she hid very well in the grass. Each black paw was placed with the utmost care as she slunk through the grass, following the herd in an almost lazy manner. As the herd slowed and stopped to graze, Sora found a prime spot for watching. She lay still, checking out each gazelle carefully.
EDIT- ((I have uploaded a picture of myself on my character sheet.))

Niko took to himself on this one, letting Sora and the two others hunt. He wanted to watch Sora, he was curious as to how she hid and hunted with the clear and obvious white fur. She actually hid quite well. He was perched upon the nearby rock, watching the three make their advance, Sora in the front, and the other two at each side. Niko was intrigued with the white cat. He wanted to know more about her. He hopped from the rock, and stalked behind the trio, swiftly but silently, and waited for the strike.

Lioness instincts in full gear, Sora's pupils dilated as she picked out a weak member of the herd- it had a twisted leg- and she shot towards it like a bullet, her cheetah speed urging her on and her lioness strength grabbing the rump of the gazelle and dragging it down. Quickly and efficiently she crawled up its back, claws hugging into its skin tightly until she found the jugular and ripped it out. Blood gushed as she removed herself from the animal and backed up, allowing the others a chance to eat. The gazelle kicked half heartedly, life gurgling out of it quickly. Sora sat down, tail curled primly around her paws, eyes partially closed.

Niko was very impressed with Sora's hunt, she was so neat and efficient. It was probably her lion that brought it down so quickly. Cheetahs were smaller, and so they had a bit more trouble with it. Niko ran up behind Sora, and smiled. He really liked her now. He walked around, and tore into the gazelles belly, ripping out the meat along it's belly and ribs. When he had his fill, he walked back bahind, and cleaned himself. Feri and Rion sat patiently behind Niko, eyeing Sora. Since Niko was the elder of the clan, and Sora was Niko's girl, they sort of looked to her as a second in command.
