Chad might have been upset but he didn't seem to be in a hurry. He never really did. "Kaayyyee. I never got the name of your mate!" Chad said this as if Kaye had been rude somehow. "Chad! How many times do I have to tell you? I don't want, and am considered not old enough to mate!" Kaye said incredulously. "Whatever Kaye. What is he name of the female if you are going to force me to be rude." the ferret said sarcasticly.

Kaia laughed. The pair were quite funny. "My name is Kaia. It's nice to meet you, Chad. I've never met anyone like you, you're a cute little thing. I mean, I don't mean to be rude or anything, I just, I'm sorry." /And he's not my mate./ She thought.

"Hello Cha'Kaia." Chad nodded corteously to the female. He had been called cute before, and that was by a female of his own species. "We can deal with my issues later if you are on holiday or something." He put on a smile showing a row of large sharp teeth. "Chad, I wouldn't call it a holiday, anyways, you look pretty upset." Kaye stood up regarding his old partner in mayhem. "Forget it Kaye, I don't want to take time from you." The alien sat down obstinantly.

"Look, if you have a problem, then it's our want as well as our need to help you. If there is something wrong, then tell us so that we can figure a way to resolve it. Quit being so stubborn."

Chad softened to the girl. He couldn't say no to a female, no matter how bad the said female's choice was. It was a weakness, he admitted it, but he didn't care enough to stop for a female of a unrelated species. He sighed inexasperation. "Alright chica," He threw in some spanish just becuase he could, "we will ignore your need to have vacation and get on to my issues. I don't know how much you can help though. It might be the One who Stood Apart himself cuasing the trouble." Chad said very seriously. "Chad! you are always saying that! The Lone One might be the one to blame for all the problems but he isn't there personally doing things all the time! You are sooo paraniod!" Kaye had heard this many times before, and many times before, Chad was wrong, except the one time... "Oh really?" Chad's voice raised in a barky-ish tone, putting the accent of his original language in his frustration. "What about the one time Kaye? What about then?" Chads fur was on end. "Ok, ok, calm down old friend, you were right then, but just know that it is a rare occurance but it does happen, just don't put down other ideas becuase you think it's him."

Kaia had to wonder? The one time? What happened then? "Don't worry, even if it is the Seperated One, I am strong and Kaye is experienced, so I'm sure that the two of us can work insieme and help you." She liked mixing languages. "Besides, what could go wrong?"

Chad and kaye looked at the new wizard who had foolishly asked what could go wrong in a very serious and knowing way. "Everything." They said in unison. "Has Chica even been on her ordeal yet?" Chad asked Kaye. Chica was apparently Kaia's new pet name. Go figure. "Yes she has she's still pretty new though. She must have had an easy ordeal or something. Look, why don't you take us to your home and we can discuss things better?" "Yeah good idea. Follow me." Chad led the way to an out of the way world-gate linked to Chad's world. Not many people visited the planet he was from. They weren't known for their accomadations to visiters. They weren't mean, just not equipped.

Into the worldgate they went. In a couple nanoseconds they were standing in a clearing in between trees. These species didn't persue technology like humans did. the whole world was a forest. there were many unusual trees and animals. They also had two suns, which was perfectly normal for the majority of aliens in this universe. One large and red, another small and blue. The blue one would orbit the red one at high speeds sucking up mass from the red one. right now the blue sun was behind the red one though. "Home sweet home." Chad said aloud. He led them into a village of sorts. Little huts everywhere and people of this species wandering about doing what they do. Then it struck Kaye. "Aren't you going to show us your children?" Kaye asked Chad.

"Aren't you young to have children? I mean, you seem young." Kaia stammered. She looked around her with interest, there were few planets she had been to, and one was similar to this, but it had different creatures, lots of them. She smiled to a passing creature like Chad. "So do your people know about Wizards, I'm assuming? If not, well, I hope I don't get attacked or anything." She almost gave a nervous shudder.

Chad luaghed. The chica wasn't very good at talking to aliens yet. "Oh, I'm young by your species standards but by my own I was old enough for my first season. Yes, we are aware of wizards, although there aren't that many of them. There are about twenty." Chad walked on, ignoring Kaye's question, Kaye would see soon enough.

"Twenty? Wow, there's just a lot more on our planet." She followed Chad. "So where exactly are we headed? You never really told us what was wrong or anything."

"We are headed to my abode, you could say, and we can talk there, some of the others don't get the issue yet and it might cuase panic. It's just a bit farther, I have to sidetrack for a bit to talk to my old mate." He walked a bit longer the turned into a hut. "Hello Cha'w~," He said as he entered through the entrance, which was covered by hanging strings with tiny beads as a kind of a door. "I have company." Kaye followed his friend into his old mate's hut.

Kaia followed the pair into the hut. She liked the beaded door, maybe she would get one one day for her room. /Panic, eh? So what exactly is the problem? Why won't he just say it. Yes, I'm impatient, now tell me what's going on!/ she thought. Now she was very curious. What could it be that the Powers that Be wanted them to help with? She opened her manual and flipped it to the front, where it listed local Wizards. It listed a few Wizards with names that could only be read in the Speech, but beside her name it said, Status: On errantry. So she was already on errantry. Same as Kaye. She smiled, though, when she saw that her power levels were still far above Kaye's. She dreaded the day when they would fall back down to normal. For now, she enjoyed it. She could probably hold open a portal to Mars for hours if she wanted to. Or maybe even Pluto. That she would have to test. But not now, she was on a mission.

Kae blinked in surprise. He had heard that! Well, some of it. It was more like, "something something impatient something something power something portal to Mars something test." But he had gotten the general idea from the emotions that accompanied the thoughts. This had happened with Kaye and Chad when they first got to know each other well enough then it weakened to only when they both wanted to as was normal. Kaye wondered when Kaia would start hearing him. Cha'w~ walked up to Chad in a very graceful manner and put the side of her face to the side of his, a kind of an alien hug of sorts. "Cha'w~, I have brought help. You should call the wizards and bring them to my hut so we can talk about the problem." Chad started to say in the strange tongue of his species. Kaye understood all of it, he was proficient enough in the speech. Chaia would propably get the idea also though some words would propably be missing, It had takin him a year and a half to get good enough in speech to understand every word in a a converstion in an alien language but not that long to get the basics. Cha'w~ chattered back her conformation and promptly, after another alien hug, Chad left. Kaye waved goodbye to Chad's first mate. Kaye knew her, she was a wizard herself. She was very pretty in Chad's species standards. That lucky dog. Or, ferret rather.
