Lily watched Demon and the scenery and jst about everything else. She might have let go of the pain, but it was more like she was gripping to something else. That grip was tenuous at best. If one thing went wrong she would propably let go and go back to the way she was. It was work to grip this thing that kept the pain away, like an actualy physical and mental strain, in a way she had propably conditioned her body never to do. It wasn't like she was happy right then, not with all the work, more of an ease. A thought flashed through her mind that if it was hard, then she shouldn't be doing it. She dismissed the thought copletely. She was strong and now she had another way to train her strength. The world was in their paws and she wanted to take advantage of that. As long as Demon was there to help her. "Well, lets go!" She laughed, Maybe it would be fun to hold on.

((Alright! Let's rampage! XD (Silv- DEMON! They say I don't hold to rules well...)*Evil grin*))
Demon returned the laugh, then looked seriously at Lily. "Yuri, I have some work to finish, but it takes place very far from here; across the great waters. There are only two ways to get there, and one option isn't open to me right now. So I was wondering...Do you like the air?" With that, Demon closed his eyes and spoke a few words. Upon opening them, his eyes were green. His black fur began to melt into him, being replaced by a hard, rough, scaly surface. Ears melded into his scalp to be replaced by long, thin antennae that seemed to float about on their own accord. His ankles reversed, allowing Demon to stand comfortably on his hind legs. Claws became permanently unsheathed and giant black wings sprouted from his sides. The lion, now a black dragon, was twice his original size. "The only option is to fly." He crossed his massive black arms, gazing curiously at Lily and waiting for her reaction. His eyes were now a mix of blue and green, marbled and rather pretty.

((Ugh. Half of me is whining that you just turned into a dragon on the certain half's forum. I personally don't care. Heehee. : ) ))
Lily stared, wide eyed at the transformation. She knew about how Demon... But she didn't know... and then. She knew a dragon when she saw one. She knew Demon when she saw him too. But to see both together was queer yet oddly not wrong either. She prefered Demon in his feline form. A lot more cuddly. She luaghed, half out of fear of flying, half out of the excitement of adventure and add another half at the oddity of what Lily flying with Demon would most likely entail. It was a good thing she had let go of her pain and fear to be more trusting at the moment, otherwise she propably would have turned around then and there... She didn't like the idea of being carried. She nodded, ready to accept whatever fate befell her and wondering what Demon's land would be like.

"Alright then." Demon crouched down so his belly was touching the ground, "We can do this two ways. I can hold you against my chest, or you can ride on my back. But to ride on my back you will have to hold onto the big scale with your teeth and dig in your claws. It won't hurt me in the least, and you would only have to do that while I am taking off, landing, and making sharp turns." He laughed lightly, "So, what's your choice?"

Lily only had to think for two seconds. Be held or hold on to scales? Be held was the obvious winner. "I think you can hold me." She luaghed nervously, the uptight side of her did not like the idea of being held at all. It was a major tactical disadvantage you could say.

"Very well." Demon stood up, walked over to Lily, then picked her up gently so her back paws paws were in his hands and his other hand on her shoulders to hold her against his chest so she wouldn't fall. "Comfy? I hope so." Demon crouched down again, then pushed himself up like a kangaroo, wings flaring open and beating hard to gain altitude. He flew horizontally once he reached a wind current he liked, and they quickly gained speed as they raced towards the ocean. "Not too cold or anything, are ya? Not being injured?"

Lily disliked the cold but she could tolerate it. She just hoped Demon didn't mind her claws. She was bristled out and freaked but after a while she started to enjoy the ride. "No," She said breathlessly, "I'm good."

Demon smiled, and took them a bit lower so she could see the pod of hippocampi swimming along. Half horse half fish- Demon like to eat them. "Maybe I will catch one for dinner later." He said with a laugh, "There's an abandoned island around here that we will reach at dusk. I don't much like flying at night. It's not quite as pretty."

Lily watched the strange group of fish/horses swim by with interest. She had never seen those before. She was a bit sore, all from her own muscles staying tensed for a long time without actually moving, or maybe it just felt like a long time. She didn't say anything, she just cozied up in Demon's arms, purring slightly, she trusted him with her life. She had only done that once before.

Dreamer glided far over the land. She hadn't expected the lion to suddenly become a dragon. She had to completely halt when she saw it. She had originally seen lion and tiger, now it was dragon and tiger. She wondered if the tiger could transform. She hoped not. She followed them for a while, hoping that the dragon wouldn't see her. He probably knew she was there anyway. She tried to stay above them as far as she could. Finally, she got tired of following them, and she called to the dragon. She let out a cry through her beak, seeing if he would land to talk to her. The griffin dove down behind them, trailing right behind them. She cawed again.

Demon glanced back, causing him to swerve slightly. "Well, the island is coming up soon anyway." He grumbled at Lily. Followers could mean trouble, but he would see. Dusk was settling heavily over the water, causing it to turn a beautiful red orange. Demon descended, spotting the island he had been aiming for up ahead. Because Lily was in his front claws, landing was going to be awkward; he had to slow down as much as possible, or risk crashing. The dragon was forced to do wide circles to avoid coming in too fast. His landing was still hard, a flurry of dirt and rock went up around them, but he managed to not throw Lily or do a face plant despite the awkward landing. He set her down gently then stretched, turning to watch the gryphon. Demon decided it would be best to remain in dragon form until he learned the intentions of the female. In lion form he was about her size thanks to his dragon blood, in dragon form he was bigger.

Dreamer threw her wings wide, bringing herself to a slow, then gradually gliding down onto the soil, her paws touching first before her large talons. She tucked in her wings, walking gracefully to the dragon. "Good evening, powerful one." she bowed her head deep out of respect to the larger and more powerful creature. "And to you, tigress." She bowed her head again. "I was amazed when you transformed into a dragon, I must say. That was not expected. I wish you no harm, by the way, I simply want to speak. I have not seen a dragon in these parts for thousands of years. I highly doubt I could stand a chance against you in a fight anyways, I watched your battle with the lions. Besides, why would I want a battle with the likes of you? I am a gentle being, I belive not in the ways of violence, I use it only when I must."

She smelled the female and almost went berzerk. She didn't know why but females always did that to her, they made her defensive. She cooled herself though. She did not like the look of those talons anyways. She nodded to the being, she wasn't quite sure what it was. There were none of those in her land or the one she was visiting. She looked at Demon in a way to say that she wasn't sure about the thing in front of her, not afraid, just unsure. She was unsure of what to say, what to do, how to act, this was completely new to her.

Demon inclined his head politely to the lady. "Greetings. A gryphon. I don't see your kind very often. In any of my forms. Almost as rare as the sphinx these days." Fur slowly began to grow, his scales softening, ears replacing the antennae. He shrank until finally a black lion stood where the dragon had. Demon flicked his tail slightly, emotionless. "I'm Demon, the half blood dragon. This is Lily, a super tiger. Lily," Demon turned to her, "She speaks truth. Gryphons are not known for their violence, which is why their numbers have decreased. Respectable creatures." He flicked his tail again, then turned and walked along the beach a little ways. A pod of hippocampi were not too far off. He logged the information away for later. "I'm curious as to why you are following us." Demon said in a peaceful, nonthreatening tone.

Dreamer noticed the subtle movements of the tigress. She saw her muscles tense. Her mother had always taught her to notice even the slightest movements of anyone that could cause you harm. "I was curious of the black lion, first of all," Dreamer said as she followed the curious being down the beach, "I've never seen one. Then I saw you transform into a dragon, and I was utterly shocked. So I followed you. I never meant any harm by it, I hope you don't mind. I was simply curious. I am a curious being, after all. I have wandered many lands, dreaming of an adveture beyond my own calling, beyond what my mother said I was born to do. That's why I earned the name Dreamer. Her brown feathers streaking back in the slight breeze, ruffling her chest feathers. "And tigress, do not feel contempt for me, I wish no conflict, I promise, I simply seek more."
