((It always brings me an odd sort of pride when I create new threads with interesting ideas. So I am proud to present yet another new thread. Can't believe I haven't already made this so anyways... on to the new thread.
In this world every one has ((i'm sure this has been done before somewhere now that I think about it but who cares? I like the idea.)) the ability to turn into their soul animal form thingy. We are going to stick to 'real' animals. The setting is just like this world in a little town called fairview. I want to do a school thing for some reason so all you characters have to be in fairview high school. You don't need a character sheet thingy except you do need to say in your first post what your character turns into. ummm... Thats all I can think of for now.
Well... I don't have time to finish it right now cuase i am grounded for the rest of this and next week so i am doing it at school. So why doesn't somone else post if they want to.

'New orders suck.' The 17 year old girl thought sourly. She leaned back against the fencepost in an alleyway, her long, chestnut colored hair flipped across her shoulders. 'Why do they make me wait so long?' She thought, letting her eyes slide closed. Finally a swirl of power formed around her and a small monkey sat before her holding a piece of shiny paper. "Chloie Spirit. Your new assignment is as such- become a member of Fairview High School. There are multiple students that have demons following them. Eradicate those demons. Protect the children. Planetary rules apply- you only have one transformation form. You are assigned your feline form. "No one is to know your true origins, unlike your last assignment. Clear?" The monkey finished, the paper he was reading from disappearing. "Crystal." Chloie said, eyes narrowed. "But why me? Why do I have to go to some stupid high school with hormonal, smelly, freakish teenagers?" "Form a Spiritual seal over the school. Eradicate the demons. The One needs protected. No more questions. No more complaints. Or do you seek a worse punishment?" "This assignment a monkey could do!" She said spitefully, earning her a hiss from the monkey as it vanished. Chloie instantly scanned the other planes, but he was gone. "Whatever." She tried to jump up to another plane, just to find that power had been removed, too. Great. She could become a cat and fight demons, but she couldn't leave this place. "Well, someone better be watching over me." She growled, then stalked out of the alleyway. By the time she hit the road, she had pushed her negative emotions aside and picked up the backpack waiting for her at the end of the alley, slung it over her shoulder, and headed for the school. As her powers had been removed, her 'boss' had imprinted the city and surrounding area into her brain, as well as her new 'home' location. "This is just great." Chloie mumbled, standing before the school. A glance at her watch showed that classes would begin in 15 minutes. "Haven't done a first day of school in years." The sudden urge to take her cat form and hide in a tree was nearly overwhelming, but instead she scanned the other planes. Might as well start forming a plan for getting rid of the demons. As luck would have it, the swarms around the school apparently could see her weakened Spirit state, and they ignored her. 'This is gonna be easy.' Chloie thought smuggly, heading boldly for the front doors and marching through Demons on her way. They still couldn't see her for what she was. Ha. She stood before the front doors a moment, inspecting herself. Chloie's eyes were still lavender, to her great pleasure. She was wearing a dark green shirt and brown, loose jeans. Tennis shoes that were dark in color. Her height was about 5'10", which was slightly unusual. She was usually only about 5'6". Chloie's hair was still it's marbled browns- predominately chestnut, but other browns were mixed in it. Her skin was alo still her normal tanned color. Not bad, considering she didn't have a choice in what she would look like on this assignment. Now, as long as her cat form was its usual, then there wouldn't be any problems.
((Yes, I know. She's not from around there. XD Deal with it. Cholie wanted to be in a roleplay, but she refuses to let any of you into her own world, so she will descend to one of your own. ^^ I have a plot for her in mind. So don't screw it up. Leave the Spirit and Demon world alone, plz.))

Tyrik strolled down the hallway, his heavy bag hung at his side, and he weaved his way through the clogged hallway that reminded him of a sealed artery. Soon the beel would ring and the hallway would empty. He walked into his class, Ms. Marks. She taught AP English. Great. He slumped into his seat in the front of the class, and Athral walked in and sat in the seat beside him. "Hey." Athral said. "Hey." Merik replied. A guy named Jerry stood in the front of the class. He was making people laugh by extending his neck and sprouting stubby horns from the top of his head. Giraffe anthros were always amusing. Athral spread his golden wings wide as the teacher entered, and they disappeared behind him as the woman, a short, brown haired woman, sat behind her desk. Safe to say, the class was dull and long, and when the bell rang, the teens rushed from the classroom. Ty changed into his large, pure black wolf form and charged down the hall, the school day was over, and the three week winter break began. Athral glided over the mass in the hall, scanning for someone he knew, anyone, even a bird?
((Kevin's reply is next, not that there's an order, but that's how we wrote it.))

((Well, I decided I don't particularly care about what you two are up to. I will just roleplay with myself.))
Chloie walked into the school, irritated by the high level of chaos in the building. Transformations happening all over the place, fooling around, etc. It was annoying. How DARE the Council make her descend to this level! This was beyond punishment- this was torture. Glancing at her class schedule that she found in her backpack, Chloie made her way to her first class- math. More pel-mel behaviors. Partial trnasformations wandered into their seats, talking loudly and being obnoxious. As the teacher entered, the class got only a hair quieter, and the transformations slowed to a stop. The kids picked the form they wanted to be in and settled down, eyes turned away from the tall man that stood at the front of the class. A lemur, Chloie noted. He had the large eyes of one, along with a tail and small ears. His hair was think and brown. Yes, definitely a lemur. 'Okay. this could potentially be fun...' She thought, slowly allowing her ears and tail to sprout, as well as her black whiskers with white tips, 'Never got to transform publicly before...' Chloie melded into the school silently, hardly anyone noticing or caring about her presence, Perhaps the student turnover was normal here, what with migrating species and all. Only three or four people bothered introducing themselves and their animal forms. But the thing Chloie was most interested in was finding The One. Failure of protecting The One meant permanent reassignment to Gate-Guarding. Talk about crap mission- You sit by one of the Hell Gates and prevent it from opening and letting loose a torrent of demons. Oh joy. Protecting The One was simple- don't let a demon kill him or steal his soul. Or her. Or it. Whatever. The One was to have a serious impact on the Lines of Fate in the future.
All of the boards in her classes said to have a happy holiday, which most likely meant that this was the final day before Winter Break. Chloie growled under her breath- that made finding her quarry that much harder. The One must be discovered before holiday break, or else she was in for a hell of a time trying to track down this person. With limited transformation abilities and teleportation out of the question, she could only pray that he stayed home this season and didn't go visit his family on the other side of the globe. At long last, the final bell rang. Kids grabbed their things and fled out the front doors, taking to their animal forms and grouping up woth friends or heading home to forget about their homework until after the new year.
Chloie followed the rush of people, animals, and anthros, keeping a grip on her bag and her ears flattend to her hea against the cacophony of noises. She could pick out over 200 different animal and human vocalizations, and that was very overwhelming. A shadow rippled across her face, and she glanced up to see a golden eagle. How nice. A black wolf rushed past her amidst the throng of canines, felines, avians, rodents, primates, and ither animals. Chloie had always found wolves intriguing, and had often taken canine form in her more intense missions. A gull glided overhead, as well as many other birds or anthro avians. They were all in juvenile stages of their animal forms- lions without fully grown manes, horses with long legs and small bodies, monkeys without full faceplates. It was mayhem.
Chloie was startled out of her reverie by a demon descending on a young boy that was still in human form. He appeared to be a 7th grader, and the demon seemed interested in him. Perhaps he was The One? Shifting quickly into her full cat form and shoving her stuff (thankfully) into the netherworld, Chloie dashed after the boy, leapt 5 feet straight up into the air and blast out an invisible burst of spirit energy, purifying and thus eradicating the demon. No one in the area would have noticed anything unusual besides a marbled brown and black cat launching itself really high into the air with a yowl. Chloie landed on the ground gracefully, stuck her tail straight up into the air, twitched the tip, and stalked away from the school. The boy had not been The One, but that was one less demon to worry about during her time here. She resumed her search, trying to pinpoint the unique signature that would be emenating from The One. She could feel, more like taste, the spiritual signature, but she hadn't found it...yet.

Sark moved hastily. He hated school, absolutely hated it. Kids were always making fun of him because he would trip over his kangaroo feet or get his dolphin fliipers caught on things and stand on two giraffe legs like stilts. It wasn't his fault. He couldn't always control the fact that he could transform into different things. Sometimes at the same time. Normally he could control it, but there were those one or two times where it got out of hand. The doctor had told him that it was some sort of genetic disorder that he had inherited, but it had only been carried for the last six generations. It was incredibly rare, and he ended up with it. He rushed down the hallway, but he was suddenly intrigued by a cat that lept into the air. It jumped really, high, and he was curious. He didn't think cats usually jumped that high. he ran forward, becoming a slender cheetah to be quicker and more agile through the crowded hall. The seventeen year old finally caught up with the cat, and he nudged it with his nose. "High. He said over the noise of the crowd. My name's Sark. What's yours? I saw you jump really high, that was really cool." He looked at the ground. "Sorry, I have ADHD."

At Sark's touch, Chloie puffed up her fur and skittered sideways, glaring critically at the cheetah with one, large, lavender eye. She listened attentively to him, though, and soon relaxed. He was harmless, and a bit funny. She sat back on her haunches, then pushed up and tapped his nose gently with her paw before standing again with a flick of her tail tip. "Well, Sark, your ADHD doesn't bother me in the least." Chloie said in her slow, ponderous voice. "And I am glad you find my jumping cool. I find your multiple transformation abilities cool. Yes, I remember your smell. But you weren't a cheetah then. Oh no." She slitted her eyes and purred for a moment, pleased with life in general for once. "And as for my name, I'm Chloie. Chloie Spirit." She purred again, this time turning away from him. Something was ringing a bell in her head, and she turned to him again. "Say, you wouldn't happen to have any siblings, would you? Your scent is very familiar to me, but not identical to the one I smelt before. I mean, yea, I remember YOU from a class beforehand. or perhaps in the hallway..." She drifted off, trying to remember when, exactly, she had first identified Sark, but gave up and shrugged it off. What mattered was he had the lingering flavor of The One on him. Like The One had either touched him or was related some way. Hell, all of the scents of different people and animals could be screwing her up so much he WAS The One, but she wasn't too sure about that. "Anyway, care to join me? I'm going to stop by the cafe' down the road and have something to drink and perhaps a bite to eat. It's on me!" She purred happily, hoping (a rarity) that Sark would stick around and be her first friend she'd had in 7 years (wanting friends, especially mortal ones? Even more rare.) "I mean, unless you got something else you have to do... I don't want to interfere in your life." She flattened back her ears apologetically.

"Chloie Spirit." Sark repeated. "That's a cool name." "No, I don't have any siblings. I'm an, well, I'm more or less an orphan. I have foster parents, but I rarely go home to them, and they let me do as I please, as long as they don't get a phone call telling them to get me out of jail and I am able to keep my grades from falling to a C or lower, than I am free to do as I please." He said all in one breath. He inhaled sharply, then coughed a bit, and his breath returned. "I'd love to go!" He said happily. "Hold on." He said. He closed his eyes and concentrated, and he became a white wolf. "This is a bit better. Not as agile, but a calmer personality. Still playful though, it's a good mix." He said, his voice deeper now. "Whenever I change to a different animal, my personality tends to switch as well. It's not like a schizophrenic switch, just a mood shift kind of thing. Like as a cheetah I'm ADHD and stuff, and as a tortoise I'm calm and sleepy and down to earth, and it's weird because as a fish I am really distracted by shiny colors and swiftly moving objects. But anyways. How did you come to be here, I don't remember you being in my classes before today, you new?"

See? You could have left me with my multiple transformation abilities. He can do it. Chloie thought testily towards the Spirit Realm. Certainly not. That is a genetic rarity. You must be as normal as possible. Dag the Messenger, replied. He appeared to Chloie momentarily on a plane that only she could see; the Third Overlapping Plane. Lose your foolish desires and stop the whining. Work on your mission. Dag snarled, then disappeared from Chloie's vision, leaving the cat to feel utterly alone. The whole exchange took less than 5 seconds, and Chloie promptly turned her attention back over to Sark. She quickly scanned the Demon-accessible planes with her lavender eyes, and was rather surprised by the Demon infestation on this planet. No Spirits or Angels met her sight, but Demons ran rampant. "Sounds like you lead an interesting life." Chloie said softly, sparing Sark a glance before returning to Plane Scanning. The cafe' was coming up, which was a mild relief. She'd get to sit back, relax, and not worry for at least a few minutes. "I guess you could say I'm new. My family loves to travel. We just moved here a few days ago, and already my parents are off traveling the area. I chose to stay here and work on my school studies instead. Sometimes the traveling gets to me, ya know? I wish I could just sit still for once." Most of what Chloie said was a recitation of her previous missions, but the last part came from the heart. Her missions were always long enough for her to bond with the mortals she was working with, then when the mission was complete, the life she had been living was ripped away like an old band-aid to be replaced by a new mission, a new life. For 1,000 years she has been jumping from one world to another. And it got tiring. "As long as I don't screw anything up, my family pretty much lets me do as I please, too." As they reached the cafe', Chloie took 'furry' form, where she was human except for her ears, tail, and vertical pupils. She pulled the door upon and motioned Sark inside, "After you, my friend. What would you like?" She asked him, perusing the menu above the front counter.

"Mm. I like to travel sometimes, just to see something different. One time I became a whale and swam to Japan. It was pretty fun." He shifted back into a human when she opened the doors. He was tall and not too badly built, not fat, but not overly skinny. His long black hair was pulled back with help of a hat, and he stepped inside. "I'll take a caramel coffee, please." He said. "If your parents like to travel, what would bring them to the backwoods of nowhere? They want to see the inside of the middle of nowhere or something?" He smiled.

((Kevin, if you aren't going to invest anything useful into this roleplay, then, I hate to say it, but- shut up. You and Cory's separate rp on paper can be whatever you want, but this one is taking a new course in whichever direction we wish it to go. Too many restrictions on a roleplay can make it dull if not done properly, and by adding in stuff halfway into an rp you aren't even IN currently, well, that's just silly. Hush now. Let us do as we please. Don't be so dang anal.))
"I bet that would be fun. We flew over to Asia for the summer, but they brought me back home for school before going to Japan, China, and Korea without me. I got to go through the Middle East, though." Chloie followed him in, "I'll take the same, please." She pulled a wallet out of her backpack side pouch and fished out the required change. The lady behind the counter thanked Chloie and pushed two good sized coffees over to them. "I guess you could say that about my family, though. I'm not really sure what they wanted to go see out here. There isn't much to go see, I noticed, but they found something fascinating." I hope the stupid preparation crew prepared my house for me and gave me pictures and things to back up my story, Chloie thought rather sulkily. Checking her change, Chloie also got a few of the pastries as well, then took her load over to an empty table. "Here, we can share these. I thought they looked yummy!" Chloie purred softly on the back of her throat, then sipped the hot coffee. "Mmm. Good stuff." A glance out the window showed Chloie something she didn't want to see. Demons were milling about, watching them. No, not them. Sark. He was The One. He had to be, and they were picking up his powerful signature. Most of them were sitting on the Second Overlapping Plane, but some had taken the form of ravens sitting on a fence in the regular Third Dimension Third Plane, meaning anyone would see a group of ravens sitting there. "Strange birds, no?" Chloie pointed them out to Sark.

Sark took his coffee, sitting across from Chloie. He added a few sugars and stirred it before blowing on it to cool it down. He took a pastry and nibbled on it. Sark looked out the window to see what Chloie was staring at. "Yes, odd birds. I dun like ravens much, I see them everywhere, it seems. I wonder who they are, or if they are people. They look like their staring at us, no?" Sark half-switched to an eagle. "Yep, us. I told someone about the funny animals that kept following me places. Once I saw a black leopard staring into my bedroom window from across the street. And once a circle of vultures seemed to be right above me, and I couldn't smell anything dead around. My friend told me that they were the creepy-crawlies chasing after me because they wanted my soul." Sark laughed and sipped his now cooler coffee.
