With a combination of quick movements and agile dodges he escaped. He was off running, long black coat flying behind him. turning the corner. He wasn't running away, not in his mind anyways. He was challenging the man to keep up, to try and shoot him. The angels agreed. He could see them watching. They could settle this in a place more suited for secrecy.

Icerus swore, shooting several bullets at the running man in vain. Icerus ran, following after. His footsteps were quiet, though quick. He turned the corner, trying to keep up, pushing himself faster. He was catching up to the man. He shot more, but running made his bullets go astray. He swore again, waiting for where the man would take him.

Running. Turning. Running. Check over back, he's following, smile. Faster. More turns. Left, right, right... Less people around here. Construction, drop down open manhole, keep running, splashing. Now, make things interesting. Two throwing knives and a left turn. They wizzed toward the following man as he turned. Back up a hole, into a newly built, empty, parking garage. Gun ready, but he wouldn't shoot right away.

Icarus pushed to catch the man, but contented to following. He slid into the manhole, sliding his foot and ducking to dodge the knives. He slid his foot back into place and continued running. He had lost ground, and so he rushed forward, quickly scrambling up the ladder. He looked up, and stopped. Icarus slowly climbed up the ladder, then stood on the concrete ground, his hands in the air, empty. "Well." Icarus said. "We meet again."
