This is placed in a semi-fantasy state for until others join. by semi-fantasy I mean, there are magical backgrounds but we can ignore them as they most likely won't be talked about unless asked about. It is preferable that joinees are big cats, or some other form of 'animal' but I guess you can be whatever you want as long as you are ok talking with a tiger as a human, elf, ect. Bored of turning human/ elf thing and since the only other thread I am in that I am in my natural state is seemingly dead since someone apparently found me boring ((gives Demon "the look")) I am starting a new one. I have changed since then, quite a lot, but I am also still me, in fact more me back to who I originally was. Well, hope you join. Hope you have fun. and hope whatever.
I think I will let somone else write the setting so feel free, go ahead.
P.S. If you haven't figured out yet, Lily will be in this.

((Silv- forgive him. He finds everyone boring. X3 Demon- Whaa?))
Vertical pupils wide to take in the fading light, Tashi-Hira's golden eyes pierced the ground in front of her, paws eating up the miles effortlessly. She was three quarters feline demon and able to take four forms, one being human, the others being feline. The other quarter of her blood was pure human, giving Tashi the ability to love others and have true compassion and sympathy- these abilities were ultimately the reason why other demons hated her. Half-breeds were frowned upon in pure demon society. Currently the demon traveled in her cat form- a short hair tabby with wide, marbling stripes. Tashi's path was aimless, though she was currently following an old dirt road, ears pressed forward for sounds. Tashi-Hira was a level 7 demon out of a 15 level ranking system, thanks to her human blood. If she had been pure, like her father, she'd have been a level 13 or 14. But, no, she had to go and have a human mother. The plains around her were empty. Not even rice paddies to look at. The glow of lower level demons, the most common, floated around her, but never dared to approach. Tashi sighed, pausing a moment to look at the sun as it dipped below the horizon. With a flick of her tail, she continued her journey as the first stars started popping up above her.

((He knows that there is almost nothing he could do that I wouldn't forgive.))
A large striped paw stepped out from nowhere into the darkening world. Then another, followed by the form of a tigres. Her tail flicked in the fading light as she assesed the soroundings. There was nothing, just wide plains and in front of her, a dirt path. She grinned at the change of scenery, so different from the forests she was born in, and refreshing compared to the white and black place of limbo she was in before. This was a whole new kind of freedom. A freedom that her kind could only hope and fear to achieve and it was her's. She sat there, gazing at the stars, wondering which one her home she could never go back to, was orbiting.

The cat stopped, feeling nauseous. Something lay before her, and it wasn't human, nor was it demon. This thing that could be seen as a shadow on the path was not from the area, that was for sure. The pull of magic it drew made Tashi light-headed and sick, but that was fading now. Tashi resumed her course, and as she realized the thing before her was rather large, she took a larger form as well- she too became a tiger. Tashi's own tiger form was smaller than the one that was ahead of her, but that was no problem. If the cat (She could tell now that the creature was, in fact, a giant tiger) decided to be a threat, Tashi could take her fourth and largest form- a massive tiger that towered above the trees in an old forest. But that would be overkill. Maybe she'd just take human form and use a katana instead. The young demon growled softly, then jogged the rest of the distance. "Good evening." Tashi-Hira said, stopping and eying the larger tigress with a bright, gold eye.

Lily's ear flicked and she turned her head in a fluid, relaxed motion. In front of her was a tigress, like herself, but also not like herself. Certainly their must be magical origins around this one becuase no self respecting tiger would actually live on plains as such for an extended period of time. She analyzed the newcomer, a habit from the old days, and decided that she was not a threat at the moment. "Good evening." She replied in a casual voice. "I wouldn't expect to see a tigress here." She said. It was her form of humor but also an unasked question. She looked back to the stars, appearing to indeferent but actually very curious about the one who had just walked up to her.

"Nor would I expect it," Tashi replied cooly, "And yet here two be." The tiger twitched her nose, pushing forward her whiskers and scanning for the demons. They crept about, curious as she about the strange magical outburst, but were reluctant to approach because of Tashi-Hira's presence. That was good for now. "You have caused quite the stir around here." Tashi said, her own form of question towards the tigress.

"Oh?" She looked around. The plains were empty for as far as she could see. "I suppose one would, being a tiger in a place that is normally tigerless." She ccould play the hidden question game all day. It was fun.

"Naturally. They watch you in their other forms." Pushing her whiskers forward as far as they would go, Tashi let out a pulse not quite unlike a sonic burst from a bat, and the demons that were below her level were forced to take a natural form rather than the ghost-like hidden one. They looked like normal animals- foxes, raccoons, lizards, snakes, etc, only they had extra features. Some had three or four eyes while others had split tails. All of the demon animals had red eyes. "It isn't the tiger that interests them." Tashi swished her tail, sitting down slowly and beside the strange, large tigress. Her lips pulled up slightly, not quite baring her teeth in a small smile.

Lily looked around, not quite startled, but interested with the nw life forms around her. They weren't quite real and looked wrong but a passing glance and they blended right in. Except for the eyes. "I suppose you are talking about my transit? That is not supposed to give off power signals, I guess that means only for some. . ." Lily normally wouldn't talk about things like her transit openly. It was a step above taboo. The one beside her seemed to already know about it though so there was no point in trying to avoid the subject. Lily wasn't quite sure what she had gotten herself into, this was slightly strange.

"Transit, you say? Can you travel from time to time? I usually can't notice those so much. My brother jumps around a lot, so I am used to them." Tashi purred curiously. "Either way, you're new around here. And that could be dangerous for you. This is a dangerous time to be in. Especially if you run into a demon higher in level than myself. Lucky for you, anything that is lower in level than me will avoid you as long as I stick around you. Anything bigger than that, well, we should be able to deal with it within reason. If not, we use the legs we have been provided and make haste." Tashi laughed lightly, baring her long, yellow fangs in the process. "What's your name, friend?"

"Time?" Lily said, surprised. "I don't know, posssibly I could have technically moved in time but it was more like moving in space. Where I was before has no time, and, as I am told, also has no volume yet exists everywhere. I honestly don't know the technicalities, only what I am told." She chuckled at her own ignorance, She had come a long way, but there was still a far road ahead of her. "Anyways," She realized she had gotten a little off topic. "My name is Lily." She puased for half a second. The rebuke her current mentor would say sounded in her mind's ear. 'Always introduce yourself with both of your friend names, your given name first and the name of the place or event that you changed, in you case, Gowgarren' Kas had told her many times. She didn't know why it was important but it must be. "Lily Gowgarren," She completed, "and you?"

"Tashi-Hira." The tigress replied in kind. "So you travel space, not time? That concept is a bit beyond me. I'd rather not know the technicalities, either." She stood and stretched, reveling in the lithe feel of her body. "I hope you don't mind. I need to change forms. This isn't my preferred one." With that, she shifted down into the tabby cat again, loving the small, compact body. "I'm off to the next town. I hear a minor demon has taken up residence in the local noble's house. If I can destroy it, the pay will get me a good hotel for the night and a hot meal. Haven't had one in ages. I'm afraid, however, that you in your current form may be frightening to the townspeople. I can take a human form, complete with cat extremities. But they let me pass as long as I deal with the trouble making demon. If you wish to remain with me, we'll have to do something to keep them from tying you to a stake and sacrificing you to the gods, Lily Gowgarren."

"Damn, When I checked this place out it was supposed to be uninhabited by mankind. So, Will they trust this?" Her body began a transformation, beautiful and strange to watch. A tall woman formed from the tiger, The major details and fine details not finding any specific pattern. Slightly tapered ears, long black hair that went to her thighs. A body that used to be beautiful, but had seen hardships. It was becoming beautiful again, slowly. Dark jade eyes and some exotic eastern features appeared upon her face. Her body language said tough and determined. Her clothes were almost provacative but to offset that she wore deadly and intracate looking guantlets upon her delicate hands. Her all around age appeared to be twenty-three, an earth joke. If she was twenty three then she would have been born in the year of the tiger. "I was hoping I could stay as my original form but I don't want to kill scared humans."

"Mankind does exist here, though they are outnumbered by demons and aren't widespread." Tashi shrugged, watching the tigress take a human form. "You're a bit tall, but you may be able to pass off as one from the Osakan Island." Tashi-Hira said, then took her own human form. A woman, no child, filled the space where the tabby had stood moments before. She was nary 14 years old, her hair long and brown. Gold eyes and vertical cat pupils, also with oriental slant, peered out from the mess of hair and cat ears poked out of the side of her head. She wore dark blue, overly large pants and matching, overly large top. A slit had been made in the back of her pants, allowing her tabby cat tail to curl out lazily behind her. She walked barefoot, and the claws on her fingers and toes were evident. Strapped to her waist was a katana with Japanese script sewn into the soft hilt. "Heh, they will always hate and fear me. I can't take a more human form. Too much demon blood in me. After we go through the town ahead, we'll hit the forests. While away from human towns, you can stay in tiger form. Men are always prepared for the worst outside of their homes, so a tiger of even your size will be practically normal compared to the demons running amok." Clasping her hands behind her head, Tashi set off towards town again, humming a random tune. Buildings could be seen in the distance- this wasn't a poor man's town, but it wasn't overly rich, either.

Lily followed eying the hybrid's katana with a hint of awe. She did not know how to use weapons other than her own two hands. One wouldn't carry a weapon like that if one wasn't proficient in the use of it. "So, What is special about this place that it is filled with demons?"
