So, I came up with this idea today. So, pretty much what the entire thing is about is that there is something desperately wrong with the balances of Heaven and Hell, and so the threads that are holding them apart are coming undone, so now there are Demons (not my demons, I mean like black shadowy, shape shifting demons, like Angel's Demons.)) running amuck in the streets, causing random mayhem, angels and spirits are on the loose, trying to either round up and clear away the rioutous demons or save humans in danger or just survive. Humans can now see these Demons, since everything has fallen together on the same plane, and humans can fight Demons with guns and stuff. Set in a semi futuristic setting, like ten years from now, so there have been upgrades to weapons (but no laser weapons or photon lasers or ray guns, just bullets) and the cars are sleeker and faster and stuff... Oh, and everyone is in chaos and the cities are falling apart because the Demons are on the loose and so nothing is really normal anymore...
"Shit!" Alum yelled as the Demons floated around the corner, their shadowy cores seemed to be gazing at him. One hit the ground as a vicious looking beast with an uncountable number of claws and spikes, the other continued flying as an eagle. Both were black as night. An angel flew away in front of him, he didn't have the strength to fight two Demons, not with the gash across his right arm already. "Dammit!" Alum cursed again. His gun was out of ammo, he had used it on the last four Demons that chased him. Finally, he found a dead guy on the street, his face bloody, his body torn open. Beside him was an automatic rifle. Alum picked it up as he ran by. He fired behind him, grateful that the gun still had bullets. He aimed for the ground Demon first, hitting it in the head a few times, then in both legs. It stumbled to the ground, then died in a puff of black mist. As soon as it died, Alum stopped, spun, and fired on the eagle. This one took a few more bullets before falling to the street at his feet. "Thanks!" The angel yelled to him as he flew away, now safe. "Yeah, no problem." He said. His breath came hyard. He hadn't been chased by so many Demons in a day since the Collision. He strapped the new gun around his back next to his other gun that had no ammo. "Well, let's see how many more times we can be killed today."

((Interesting. Seems Chloie and Angel's world has gotten to you. They are both kinda interested in joining. They are willing to change their own world ideals for the sake of a story- such as the possibility of the planes collapsing. That, for them, is as impossible as the dimensions collapsing into one another. But two planes must still exist beyond the mortal one- God and Satan. If the two collide onto one plane, that is the end of all existence. Too much power for any one plane to withstand alone. The delicate balance is shattered and existence throughout the universe goes poof, eradicating God, Satan, Demons, Hell-Masters, Spirits, Angels, and mortal beings, including the Graced. But rest assured, your plans can still work, because the power of God and Satan on their own planes is so strong that no one else can go there. It upsets the balance and crashes the plane. No spirit or angel has ever been able to push through the fabric of God's plane, nor have they ever really tried. Same with demons and Hell-Masters. They know the consequences would be an end to everything, so no one ever tries to push through to Satan's plane. Satan's goal is to control the Universe and make it in his own Hell's likeness. God is doing the same thing- control the universe and make it in Heaven's likeness. So they really want to see what you are doing and have in mind before joining. ^_^))

(Im gorwing tired of Satan and god stuff, can we not try a world where we name new gods and demons, the planes themselves are dimensions of endless possiblilities and the gods are numerous, as a polythiestic religion setting... <for isntance, the Drizzt Do'urden series has so many gods, Lolth goddess of chaos, Meliki goddess of nature, Tempus barbarian god of war. etc etc...>)

((There is an undeniable force of ultimate evil and ultimate good . Just becuase some chosose to call them satn and God while other choose different names doesn't mean anything. this is even ture in the boooks you mentioned. I personally could see this in the realistic file but that is probably only me.))

((*Angel looks flustered* Oh dear. People changing worlds. Oh no. *Shakes head* Mortals can't do that. Only plane jumpers can, and if the planes collapse, we'd be unable to move around. We'd be stuck where we fell. That means Spirits are floating out in space! *Cry* *Chloie pats her* We could still operate in that. If the planes crashed, there would be mayhem universe wide. *Angel sobs* But the planes /can't/ crash precisely for that reason! Every world has its own balance. The planes could be weak in one spot perhaps... No Chloie! Don't say things like that! It's sacrilege! *Prays to God to protect her and Chloie* Cut the semantic nonsense. This is a role play, not reality. Think outside the planes. *Laughs* I'm joining with or without you. I'd like to have my healer with me, but if you can't handle a strange concept... But Chlo! We can't risk a strange concept getting to the demons! What if it really happens? -_- Angel...You said yourself it's impossible. The planes can't collapse. This is based loosely off our world. Stop being such a baby. *Abandons* ...Wait for me, you'll get yourself killed. Dang prototype thinks she has nothing to lose.*Jumps after*
So, they are gonna join, apparently.))
Brown fur flew quicky down a street, paws eating the pavement effortlessly. The long hair brown cat with lavender eyes launched herself at a demon- a minotaur formed one. Her cat teeth dug deep into its armor, claws ripping and tearing effortlessly at the demon material. The cat caught the burst of white and blue in the corner of her eye and loosened her bite to yell, "Angel! Wrap him!" The blue/white cat was also a long hair, and a golden halo sat above her head and creamy wings sprouted from her sides. She looked flustered. "Wh-What? I'm a healer, Chloie, not a warrior!" "Ugh, use your healing power to trap and purify him! I know you can do it! All healers can!" The cat screamed as the minotaur raked a sword along her side. Angel began doing rapid circles, chanting as she looped the demon. Finally, a flare of blue went up around the spirit and demon, and the demon disappeared with a yell in black smoke. It had been purified, it's power changed and contributed to the spirit balance. Chloie dropped to the ground as the bubble died away. "'Bout time. We need to form a safe space. Glad you came out." The warrior grinned at the much older healer, and Angel managed to grin back, "Couldn't leave my brethren to die." The cats ran quickly away, finding a demonless spot in a garden. "Let's purify it." Angel said, boldly compared to how she had been speaking before. the cats stood on opposite ends of the garden, then began circling it quickly, singing a song in the spirit tongue. An invisible wall formed, and once it was strong enough to repel all demon levels, they both jumped into the center, sealing the spot as a permanent purified area. A safe-zone, if you will. All churches had the same purification as well. Religious hotspots that only spirits and mortals could enter. Of course, demons had their own hot spots too, and it took many spirits to purify those. Spirits and angels began to join the two cats in the bubble, stopping to take a breather before returning to the fight. A bubble made by a healer had healing properties, and they all felt relief as God's power came back to them. Granted, it was weak because of the huge energy drain at not having the planes, but they still felt recharged.

((eh, I'll go along with it, but don't get too crazy))
Alum made his way through the rubble strewn streets. His home wasn't too far from here. Or at least what was left of it. What remained of his home was his bedroom, his bathroom, and the kitchen that was on the opposite side of his bedroom wall. He had gone around and searched for scrap metal to cover his house in when a Demon came through and knocked out most of the walls. So now it was those three rooms all covered in metal. Steel, aluminum, titanium pried from a tank, an iron door became the entrance. He wanted it to be as collision proof as possible. He knew how much Demons liked to hit things. He climbed the ladder to the third floor of a mostly ruined building. From there he took a set of hand-repaired stairs to the fifth floor. This was where his "house" was. In front of the big iron door and the steel entry was a mounted pair of binoculars, a mounted turret, and a cage with a shotgun and a rifle. These were his "I'm being attacked outside and can't get in fast enough" supplies. He looked through the binoculars, making sure that the area around was safe. From up here, he could see quite a ways, all of the buildings around were no more than three stories. There was no roof or ceiling where he was, just ruined brick and concrete around him. The wall facing the street was half gone, so that's where he mounted his gun and binoculars. He took out a key, a large skeleton key, and unlocked his front door. He stepped inside, closing but not locking the door behind him. He threw his bag on his bed, along one wall, turning on the lamp that was next to the bed. Nowadays, there were few power companies still running, so Alum kept four generators beneath the floor. There were also two backups and two backup-backups. He kept them all running on premium deisel feul siphoned wither from semi trucks or abandoned military vehicles. He placed his two rifles in the rack beside his bed. The space was dim, lit only by the lamp, and was dimmer still, metaphorically, due to the fact that there were no windows, just concrete walls with steel patches. He walked outside, standing in front of the half-wall facing the street. A breeze blew his long red hair, and a jeep drove by on the street below. A gunner was firing at a vulture-ish Demon tailing him. The demon was flying erratically, so Alum fired down with his turret a few times, helping the guy out. When the Demon fell, dead, Alum just crossed his arms, waiting for some other Demon to come up and antagonize him or chase him or attack him. It was inevitable in this forsaken wasteland. Below, Alum saw a Demon crash into a truck. Such a waste of metal and gas. Though he could go down and see if there was still gas later. But at the other end of the street, where he had come from earlier, he saw a man running, then stop. 'You idiot, move, shoot it, something.' Alum thought, readying the turret. But instead, there was a female voice, and the man ran into the building on the other side of the road. Alum shot the Demon anyway. Curious, he returned inside, throwing a new assault rifle (with full ammo) around his back after putting on his vest, which he had filled with the necessary items. He wasn't going far, but he always wanted to be out with protection. He went outside, locking the door behind him. He went down the stairs, slid down the ladder, and hid until a trundling Demon had gone by. He ran across to the building, a grocery store, and knocked on the door, seeing the two just inside.

((ugh. Way to set my entire rp on a left hand turn. This is a heaven-hell meet in the middle rp, not a "Hey, let's introduce other religions and have a new storyboard!!"))
"Hm." Alum said. He watched the two walk off. So instead, he set off to find some of those damn angels. They were fickle, they always ended up here or there. Sometimes they needed help, sometimes they need a hand, other times it was just fun to watch them kick some Demon's ass in force. The way the archangels would fly in armor and flaming swords, coming down upon the Demons with speed and skill and strength. He ran down the street. It was surprisingly quiet at the moment. This was one part of the city that saw a lot of Demon activity. That's why his home was here. Then he felt it. It was sort of a shockwave, like when something exploded near you. Then, it rounded the corner. It was easily fifty feet high, with three massive heads and burning eyes. A cerberus. Now creatures of hell were showing up. "Shit." Alum said. He bolted, turning the other direction. The beast roared behind him, and a bolt of fire shot by. Alum yelled again, then turned and sprinted up the three story ladder. He ran up the two flights of stairs as the building shook below him. He couldn't lead the beast to his home. He leapt from the roof onto the roof of the next building over. He ran along the rooftops, the beast lumbering through the streets to chase after him. A few times, Alum shot a few rounds into the beast's eyes, causing it to cry in pain, but caused no lasting damage. Alum stopped, hiding behind a tall column. He could only hide...wait.

((Hey, People all around the world believe different things. All I was proposing was that since heaven and hell has met in the middle, it must be also true around the whole universe. Then I thought, Hey, What if it originated on earth? I answered to myself, Then people who are powerful enough to do so around the universe would want to get to earth to help stop it from affecting them. Am I wrong?))
((Pspowers that Be ect. They are different names for the same thing. There have got to be different names in different partz of the universe.))

Shyl stood smiling at the human from his perch, he spread his wings and dived at the demon, his sword emitted a white glow as it struck its nose, it sliced off the tip of its nose, not good he made it angry, its skin was tougher than he expected, his smile was quickly replaced by a look of dissapointment. "ill never impress the archangels at this rate," he said irately The demon had begun to swing its massive jaws toward him, he looked up with a simple sideways glance and dove at its knees, cutting its hamstrings on its left side bringing it down to a lay on its side. Shyl Jumped up and ran along its spin dragging his sword along its back leaving a deep gash in its thick skin, he ended the move with a somersault and came down hard, cutting deep into the beasts skull. The retaliation was impressive for having been so weakened, it swung around with its head a horn catching his shoulder and hurling backwards into a wall knocking him to the brink of his conciousness. He watched the beast fall through his bleary eyes and smiled before he passed into the unconcious world.
Little did he know he had slain a lieutenant of the demon legions, something that the lord would not take lightly...

Alum could hear the beast breathing behind him. It was intimidating and rank. Alum leaned his head against the column. He had few books in his home. Most of which were about demon slaying and killing angels. He finally remembered what he read about the cerberus. He finally remembered what the books said about how to kill it. And he wasn't exactly up to the idea. But did he have a choice? He sighed. He sighed again, taking deep breaths. Then he spun around the column and ran. The beast looked him in the eyes with all six of its. He yelled, firing wildly at the eyes of the middle head. Then, when he reached the end of the roof, he leapt into the open mouth of the middle head as it cried out in pain.
The throat wasn't so bad, just slimy and rancid. But as he neared the stomach, he could feel the heat. He landed on a dry part in the midst of boiling waters. If it was water, which Alum highly doubted. He looked up at the cavernous stomach, three tubes entered from above from all three heads. Alum took a grenade from his pack. He took a breath, then pulled the pin. He released the grip, triggering the timer. He counted. Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four. Three. Two. Alum dropped the grenade into the boiling water. Almost instantly, there was an explosion, and Alum was knocked backwards. Boiling...liquid...dropped around him, but he was fortunately protected by his vest and clothing. He could hear the beast roar, and the level of the acid began to drop as it all poured into the dogs' system. When Alum could see a hole, he jumped in.
He quickly drew his knife, and as soon as he hit the dog's belly, he began cutting, trying to ignore the searing of his flesh. Finally he dropped onto the street, the dog howling in pain as it was burned from the inside out. "All in a day's work." He said, returning to his home.
