point A: It was too funny.
point B: How was Bella being a bitch? She was the one who was mind fucked, not her duaghter. Edward walks up and sprays her with vampire pheremones and she is instantly in love with him. Edward is like the dude version of Poison Ivy (batman super villain)

Bella is an idiot, i don't like her at all. She lead Jacob on for a while, then ditched him right when Edward came back into her life. Besides he couldn't have "mind fucked" her because he can't read her thoughts. She chose Edward of her own free will.
And the whole thing about them imprinting on babies, is kinda really disgusting, though in truth it is not their fault entirely. If anything, you should blame fate because it is fate that determines who ends up with who.
I didn't really like the idea of Bella being/getting pregnant in the first place, but whatever not my decision to make. Plus her power was a total rip off.

Bella might not have gotten her mind read but she certainly got sprayed with vampire pheremones which took her power of choice away from her. If Edward hadn't have came back like a bitch then the pheremones would have worn off and she could have been with Jacob until he imprinted on some other girl. The pheremones were starting to wear off but Edward came back putting Bella's mind back in the vice.

Fate is gay. It should be put to sleep.
And since when was this about Bella? I don't give a shit about some whiny teenage brat and her bastard vampire boyfriend. Their gay-ass plot is what got Renesmee into the entire mess that started this thread. Reading the first page made me want to get amnesia - just to forget to remember that book.
I don't know the circumstances behind Bella/Edward. Whether or not he "sprayed" her I don't know, nor do I really freaking care. She was a total ass about it. Girls - never, ever, ever fall for a guy who wants to fucking drink your blood. Doesn't he say it outright? "All I want to do, Bella, honey, is drink your delicious blood and ditch your corpse."
To which she basically says ". . . LOVE ME!"
And then she gets married right out of high school?! This whole fucking serious is one giant Mormon/Catholic lovefest. It's like Disney for teens with fabrications of forced love and chaotic situation.
And I still hate it.

Eh, I don't really care for Bella/Edward or Jacob/Renesemee in the first place, but i still enjoyed reading the books. The whole thing with Renesemee was just so there wouldn't have to be another seriesof books written about Jacob finding his imprint or whatever. Its because they are too lazy/don't want to write more about it. Eh, it was cool.... at least the fighting parts were.

: D I enjoyed reading it for the most part. You seem to take it too seriously. I just love debating so really if you were pro Twighlight I would propably want to wrie about hating it. And it must be a good book if it got this much discussion right?

. . . no. It's a horrible book. The writing may be, eh, okay, but it's a crime to humanity. It stole my best friend's soul. She'll never be the same. It has her in an icy grip that she'll never be released from. Even when she's forty-seven taking care of her nine children, she'll still wish she had an Edward to hold her. It is the scum of the literary field. The black smudge of white writing. It completely derails a feminist's concepts, and throws our ladies back into the 19th century.

Hear hear! That's about all I got from the synopsis of the books. It takes modern day people and Victorian age ideals. Those two don't mix anymore. They can't. Women have more self-respect for themselves today (I hope).

See. I dont take it that seriously and the people that do either end up getting extremely offended or wishing they had Edward. They took Da Vinci code too seriously also (as a side note) if the book is taken too seriously it stops being fun to read.

A book shouldn't suggest things that are so entirely awful. And the world shouldn't become obsessed with it.

I think that people should read books for reading, not to examine every detail and comment on how horrible it is. Fiona, did you read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse? If so, why? if you hate the books so much, or even just Breaking Dawn, why did you read it? If you're just going to complain about the book, and how horrible it is and how terribly awful it is, don't read it, or just keep it to yourself. I liked the book. I thought it was a very good book, and it's something new, I've never read anything like it before. I really liked it, so if all you have to say about it is nothing good, then shut up.
