Year: 4375 Earth Starting Planet: Earth
Earth has come far since the present times. The world has become hi-tech and modern. Buildings reached the sky and cities became smaller as they grew higher. Most cities are now fairly small in the size of their city limits, but have grown straight up. Roads have become obsolete, and parking lots are built on top of the buildings. Cars are now built with small wings, and have no tires. The cities are clean, all trash taken into space, and then burned from inside the craft, all smoke being released harmlessly into the vaccuum. There is no car exhaust, as they are fueled by nitrogen oxide and release only oxygen. This in turn created more oxygen in the atmosphere, and made more ozone, fixing the problem of a hole in the ozone layer. Not only did cities become more advanced, so did the military. Lasers were used in place of bullets. At first it seemed theoretical and crazy, and many countries laughed at the US for coming up with such an idea, some even attacked the US and said, "Where are your lasers now?" The US destroyed their entire country in a matter of months using pistols. Laser pistols. Rocket technology became more advanced, and now the average space rocket is no larger than a pack of coke. Whatever, blah blah blah, there are alien creatures from other planets, yaddah yaddah.
He holstered his pistol, the laser burst giving off little sound. The man in front of him collapsed, a burned hole going through the center of his skull. It wasn't easy being a bounty hunter. The world had bad people, but the people taking care of it were no better. He engaged his pack, and he silently zipped over the buildings, lit up bright. He landed on a hill, not far from the city. He stamped his foot twice, and the ground gave out beneath him. His pack slightly glowed, letting him float slowly to the ground. He threw his pack and his guns onto the bed, with his helmet on top. Erian was hardly the person he was before. His face was scarred and slightly burned, and his hair was long and messy. He hardly recognized himself.

Mastrik felt as though he were dancing above the clouds, a jet pack on his back, the city lights blow him. He opened the visor on his helmet, breathing in a deep breath of cool, fresh air. It was good being out of prison. It was night, so he dove deep, headed towards the glowing mega-light that was Half-Mane City. He circled around a major flying road, dodging a few other cars, and dropped to the ground, his jetpack slowly letting him touch down safely. His pack was small, so it looked like a backpack, and he traversed the wide sidewalk, (that stood in place of the ancient roads) and found himself a bar. Inside he found several Drakians, sexy women from Darius IV, hotter than any woman you would find on earth. He thought about it, then concluded that he needed a drink first. He sat down at the bar, and ordered a Firescotch. The glass of fire came to him, a swirling liquid fire. He downed the glass in a shot, it burned all the way down, making his body warm, and he sighed, setting the glass on the table. "One more." He said to the bartender. "You sure?" he asked. "Yes, sir." "Alright." The bartender layed two glasses of Firescotch on the bar. "Other one's on the house if you can drink 'em all." Mastrik shrugged, grabbing a nearby glass. It was filled with Morik Flamshis, one that went well with Firescotch. Mastrik poured both shots in, much to the surprise of onlookers. He shrugged again, drinking the entire glass without stopping. It felt great, the burning, and the buzz. He slammed the glass down. He followed it with a 200 Forna bill. "One for anyone who wants it." He slapped the bar and left. He laughed when he got outside, the Fire felt great.

Eiran took a shower, wiping the grime from his hair and his body. He threw his armor and his helmet into the wash, they were sweaty. When he felt refreshed, he layed back on the couch and watch some TV, waiting for his next assignment to get in. He didn't know who ever payed him. He just knew that a message came into his phone saying who, how much, and when by. Then, afterwards, he had more money in his bank account. Other than that, he didn't care much.

((Look, if apparently you can't find something to say, my character didn't give you enough to work with, whatever, then fine, I'll roleplay with myself. I can actually make a role play where I can make my own stuff happen. I don't need my characters to interact with each other in the first two posts. They don't even need to interact. In fact, they might never. Now there's an idea.))

Mastrik activated his jetpack, soaring straight up unti he reached his usual flying altitude, and he soared west for a while. The hills here were cleared of buildings and returned to nature, though he knew that below, many people made there hideouts. Bounty hunters, fugitives, the like. He alighted on a hilltop, the lights of the city bright to the west. "You down there?" he called.

Eiran sat straight up on the couch. Few people knew the location of his home. He ran to a control panel that took up all of one wall, it had keyboards and monitors, switchboards and loads of sensors. Maps took up some of the monitors. One of the monitors was connected to a system of sensitive motion sensors. He couldn't use cameras, they would be too conspicuous in case any one ever came around snooping. Sound sensors wouldn't help with the major freeway that ran in the sky above the hills, so he relied on the motion sensors that picked up vibrations in the ground. He played back the vibrations caused by the voice, the only sound came through a single one way intercom that was hidden under a rock near his entrance. He played it back and ran the vibrations through his computer. The results came back through a small speaker. It was Mastrik. He rolled his eyes and hit a button on the wall next to the tube that led above ground. A platform raised up, and he heard the ground slide away, and the platform dropped back down. On it was a tall man, a grizzly beard on his chin, and scars marked around his dark eyes. "Hey little bro." Eiran said.

"Hey, man." It had been a while since he had seen Eiran's burned face, his bedraggled hair, and his deep scars. He stepped in, the house was large, there wasn't really a space restriction underground. "Been a while, huh?" he looked around, at how clean and neat and spacious everything was. "You're too neat to be a bounty hunter. What's you're other job?"

"If you had been a good bounty hunter, you would know that you have to kill cleanly, and after a while, the habit sticks." He walked into the liveng room, and motioned to a set of stairs. "You're room's still upstairs."

"That hurts. I was only caught because the guy moved and sprayed blood all over the wall." He rolled his eyes. He walked up the stairs, and entered the second door to the right. His room was exactly how he left it, the same bed against the far wall, the same desk beside it, and the same shelves on the other walls. He was a bookworm before he started killing. He threw his bag on the bed, flopping down onto it. It gave silently, he always oiled it because he would sneak out in the middle of the night sometimes, like his brother cared. They were both adults, and neither cared what the other did at 3 in the morning. One time the two even ran into each other in the hallway, and they left at the same time, going who knows where, they didn't know. He stared at his ceiling.

Eiran leaned against the doorway. It had been years since his brother had been here. "You know, you could have moved back in anytime."

"Knowing you, you could have either convinced them to let you walk out, or you could have found a way out through the hidden room in cell 39-B, right beneath the bed, opened by snapping Chariots of Fire. Then you could have made your way through the rooms until you came out in the hideout that happens to be situated on the other side of your bedroom wall."
