Tarya laughed as Kaelia rode away. Anor rolled his eyes. 'Ten to prepare, twenty to find the tunnel.' Anor called to her. Tarya laughed, and pulled a large green crystal from his pack. He whispered a few words and threw the crystal against the ground, and green orbs enveloped the sharpshooters, and stretched to surround Kaelia. When the globe disappeared, the group had arrived at the edge of the forest. Tarya looked to Kaelia, who had been transported next to them. "After you, my lady."

Having figured as much from the strange Siranians, Kaelia halted Trotter before they plowed into the forest. "Alright, towards the mountain." She turned to the north and kicked him into a canter, heading towards a small mountain range that spanned from the center of the forest and out a little ways. It didn't take long to reach the foothills, and Kaelia promptly turned towards the forest, keeping her pace at a canter. As they went along, Kaelia suddenly dropped below the ground as if she had gone down some stairs, but there was no sign of the hole in which she had entered. "Come on, walk straight from where I was, and soon the stairs will appear to you. I told it to acknowledge you, so it will appear when you get close enough." Came her voice from what sounded like miles away.

The Siranians ran after her, they were quick, they did not need horses. They followed her all the way to where she disappeared, and Tarya shrugged. "I figured as much from the elves." Tarya followed in Trotter's exact footsteps, his hoof-prints clearly visible in the grass, to his sharp eyes. Then all of the sudden a hole appeared, Tarya motioned for the others to follow. The group went down the stairs, again following Kaelia.

Kaelia waited for them to appear, having used magic to light the torches underground. Once they had all descended, Kaelia nudged the giant warhorse on, and he swished his tail in delight. Oddly, the equine enjoyed being underground. As they moved along, they made many random turns, twists, and passed up other tunnels until even Kaelia lost track of them all. The path had been imprinted into her mind, so she knew by instinct where she was going. Most of the paths were reasonably wide, but some got rather narrow at times and they had to walk single file. Finally they came to an open cavern with a fresh water stream running through it. "Hopefully we won't be long. And I hope you have enough food to keep yourselves comfortable and happy. Feel free to do as you please- the city is still a great distance off, and sound dampeners anyway. Practice your skills (Like you really need to, ha), sing, whatever. Now, what do you wish me to do? Return to Akess or remain with you until Legend gives the signal?"

"You can do as you wish. We do not believe there is need for you to remain here, but I think it would be better if you remained." Tarya said. "I will send a signal to Itsaki and tell him that he needs to be close enough." He pulled out a white crystal and began spinnning it in his fingers. Narik sat against a rock and began to play a tune. Here and there, some of the Siranians pulled bread or cheese from their pockets or puches and nibbled on them. "We shall await your signal." Tarya said, replcing his crystal.

Kaelia dismounted Trotter and settled down on the ground. She lay upon her back, hands clasped behind her head. Eyes closed, the young princess listened to the chatter of the elves, the music, and Trotter's breathing above her head. Time passed quickly by, but in the silence and darkness of the cavern, it felt like an eternity. Nearly 5 days had passed, and Kaelia moved little during the time- she had little reason to. She could go weeks without eating and she spent most of the days sleeping or thinking, lost in her own mind. Late on the fifth day, a small pop sounded and the purple and brown fire drake appeared. The elven girl cracked an eye open at the drake, then nodded at his squeak. "It is time." She said quietly, sitting up and stretching. "Legend, prepare the elves of the city. Have a riot started in the market place. We'll come through the castle's passageway and release the prince. Then, we deal with Ryaj." Legend disappeared, off to fulfill his orders. "Any questions?" She asked the Siranians, taking hold of Trotter's mane and preparing to mount.

“No, no questions. We should go now, Itsaki will be in the city momentarily.” His men were on their feet and ready in seconds.
Keena approached Itsaki. Anor’s ears perked. Neither of them had heard him until he was only feet away. Itsaki was lying on a rock at the edge of the Forest of Sindaria. Anor lay beside him, listening for anything coming from the forest. He lifted his head when Keena’s footsteps came into range, and Itsaki looked over at the sound of the movement. He stood as Anor nodded his head. The two clasped wrists. “Hey brother, it’s been a while.” Itsaki said. “I know, I’ve been busy.” Keena replied. “Have they given the signal yet?” “No, wait- yeah, Legend just gave them the signal, he’s going to start a riot in the marketplace, then they’re going to storm the inside of the castle and clear the place and set the prince free.” “You never cease to amaze me.” Itsaki told him. “I know.” The two, still clasping wrists, were shot through Time and space like a massive ballista, only to alight on the leafy roof of a house built into the tree. The house overlooked the plaza that was the market place. They landed as though they had never moved, silent, unmoving. Anor was now perched on Itsaki’s shoulder, no larger than a firedrake. They watched as a few elves began a brawl in the center of the market, then more and more joined, attacking the guards. Soon enough, more of the Royal Guard appeared to break things up. Keena smiled, throwing himself through Time with a bit of momentum, slamming into one Guard with the force of a stone from a catapult. Itsaki lanced on Guard with his elven blade, and Anor sprung back to size, ending the lives of three Guards with the massive spikes on the end of his tail. Keena bent the knees of one Guard backwards before finally drawing his blade. It was a sick, curved blade that was in the rough form of a pickaxe, with two blades perpendicular to the main blade about six inches from the end. He swung it once in a lethal killing blow, then swung twice more, the long, horizontal blade catching three men. “Let’s move closer to the wall.” Itsaki said. Keena only nodded to him, resuming his killing spree. Keena felt strange magic, and wondered if this was what Kaelia had meant as Ryaj throwing everything he had at us. Was he using some sort of strange magic? Before he could ponder more on the idea, a sword glanced off of his cloak and Keena lunged backwards, catching the man’s ankle beneath his foot and crushing it. He swung his elbow back and smashed the elf’s face.

Kaelia grinned slightly- Go figure they didn't have any questions. They were trained to just...fight. She mounted up and started down the cavern, hitting a gallop quickly. The elf and horse moved quickly through the tunnel, and she knew the Siranians were close behind. As the end drew near, Kaelia released her hold on Trotter, and the stallion didn't slow a beat as she crossed her arms before her and her lips moved as she recited the spell. Right before Kaelia and Trotter slammed into the wall, it disappeared to be replaced by a dark and dusty room. Still moving at a gallop, Kaelia cleared the road of doors with her spells, which made the doors fly open to allow them to pass. They kept this up until the group hit the main hall. The elf dismounted and drew her sword, "Alright, kill the soldiers that rush at us. Harm not a single servant. We will head down the west wing and release the elven guards- I bet they are itching for a fight- then I will release the prince from there. Ryaj will be in the central tower at the top. I warn you to fear him. He is powerful and merciless. His magic will be one that you have most likely never experienced- Dark Sindarian." She finished as the first wave of Castle guards swept towards them while the alarm bells rang wildly. 'Here goes...' Kaelia thought grimly, her sword beginning to glow green before green flames began to lick along the blade hungrily. She surged forward, hair whipping behind her as she sent a blast of green fire at one elven guard, twirled and cleaved a second as her foot tripped a third. Fire drakes began to pop up all over the hall, flickering about quickly as they joined the fight.

Tarya and his men ran after Kaelia, Tarya strung his bow as he went, the other Siranians drew their swords. When they burst into the hallway, Tarya found a small perch on one wall, he crouched low, and began firing burning arrows at the oncoming guards. Each arrow found their mark perfectly, straight between the eyes. A few arrows were fired with a bit of magic, and they made their way deep into the wave and exploded, taking a few lives. The other Siranians dove deep into the fray, fighting with a style perfected by Siranians. Tarya threw a small white crystal, and it broke against the ground.
Anor chomped on one guard, throwing his mangled body into a few others. Keena swung his sword, and his white crystal shone bright from his pocket. Tarya. Keena nodded to Itsaki, and Itsaki nodded back. Keena sprung through space, alighting beside Tarya on the floor. “Ryaj is up in the main tower. The Siranians have things here, Kaelia is going to free the elven guards and the prince, we need to get up to the tower, we’ll wait for Kaelia to show up.” Tarya said. Keena nodded. “Watch your right side, swing three times, not twice.” Keena said to him. Tarya didn’t know what that meant, but he knew that it would be important later. Keena sprinted through the Guard, while Tarya leapt over many, and on many. They made their way through the maze of corridors, Keena pressed the speed of his time travel, speeding ahead and seeing where each one went. They quickly made their way to the main tower of the keep. Tarya constantly looked over his shoulder to see if there were any guards or Kaelia behind them. “Don’t worry. They’ll be in front of us.” Keena said. Sure enough, at the foot of the tower, a number of Guards had prepared themselves, blocking the doorway, holding spears ahead of them like a porcupine. Keena sighed, and charged forward, sword raised.

Kaelia slid into the hallway, and thankfully more guards were interested in the Siranians than her. Pulling her cloak up, she moved swiftly down the hallway and reached a locked door. Using her magic to overpower Ryaj's magical lock, the elf went into the room and removed her cloak. "Princess Kaelia!" One cried out, moving over to her. "Antlach!" She said back, hugging him tightly. "Where are your weapons stashed? It's time to fight!" "Over in the cabinet. Your damned Uncle locked it with magic, too." "No worries." Kaelia said brightly, undoing the lock and passing out the weaponry to the guards. Being the Palace Guard, they were of the toughest in the entire forest. Sadly they had been no match for Ryaj's magic and his magically enhanced guards. "Ant! Where's Salogem locked up?" Kaelia called as he ushered his men out the door. "His tower. Good Luck, mi'lady." "Thanks, you too, Ant. You will be fighting alongside srangely clad Siranian elves. You will know your allies from your enemies." She said. Antlach nodded to her, then disappeared out the room.
Kaelia went back out into tha hallway and continued west down it, then popped into a servant's tunnel. These were the hidden pathways that servants used to get from one area to another quickly and without clogging the hallways. Kaelia followed this one until she reached the exit, which was in front of Salogem's door. She studied the magical lock on it, then undid it. She ran quickly up the stairs and burst through the bedroom door. A male elf sat up on his bed, placing his book aside and staring curious;y at the intruder in his room. His white blond hair was rather long, sitting a good ways below his shoulder. His features were decidedly more masculine than Kaelia's, but like a typical wood elf, he still had feminine aspects about him and a feminine grace. Kaelia pulled back her hood, her own white blond hair laying along her back with two braids tying together in the back. "Kaelia?" Salo said, getting up from the bed and walking towards her slowly, "Is it really you, or an illusion?" He reached out and touched her face, the open doors of his room letting the first sounds of the battle flow into his large elven ears. "It really is me." She said, tears starting fall from her blue/green eyes. She shook her head sharply, regaining control of her emotions. "Get your weapons. We fight now, for our city." Salogem smiled brightly, ruffling her hair, then turned and grabbed his bow and arrows. Together they ran out of his room and back into the servant's tunnels, going quickly towards the main tower guard room. Kaelia's brother was many years older than her, and definitely look it. He appeared to be the human age of 30, while she looked less than 20. Drawing her sowrd and he notching an arrow, they dove into the hallway beside the spear-wielding guards. Surprised, the guards couldn't react in time as Kaelia's green sword started ripping into their sides and Salogem's arrows burst into their temples. "Pleasure seeing you again!" Kaelia called to Tarya lightly.

Tarya smiled as he hacked through one guards spear, giving him a blow to the skull with the pommel of his sword. "Aye." He said to her. Keena hooked a guard through the gut and slammed him against the ground, splitting his armor. Keena grabbed the fina; guard's neck with his blade, pulling and decapitating him. "Come on."

Kaelia straightened and locked her eyes with Salogem's for a moment. He nodded and she heaved a sigh. "Alright. Fine." Straightening her cloths and putting her sowrd away-her battle would be magical, not physical- she pushed open the doors to the King's Room. "Ryaj. A pleasure, as always." She said to the man sitting in the large, tree-made chair. He had, however, taken the life-based spirit of the elf and destroyed it by decorating everything in gold, silver, and jewels. He was a tall, thin man with dark brown hair and beard. "Kaelia." Ryaj said cooly, "I had a feeling it was you causing mayhem in my palace." "I'm afraid it isn't your palace. It's Prince Salogem's." She motioned towards her brother, who stood proudly beside her. "And I am going to remove you from your reign." Kaelia smiled, folding her arms in front of her. "Ha, you think removing me with all of my powerful magic will be easy?" Ryaj laughed. "No. I didn't say it was going to be easy. I may even lose my life. But I did say I was going to remove you from your reign. And I will hold true to that promise." Ryaj scowled at the elven girl, his brow furrowed. Demonic power swirled around him, making Kaelia want to crinkle her nose at the demonic stench. Dark magic was a hateful thing- one had to give up their very soul for that power."So be it." He stood up slowly, glancing around at the Siranian elves that had entered behind Kaelia and Salogem. "You're friends will be no match for me. Here, play with this." Ryaj waved his left arm sharply, and a bunch of shadowy creatures detached from Ryaj's own shadow and began to form, advancing on the Siranians. Men, wolves, and strange cat-like creatures had formed, each highly dangerous. There were perhaps 20 of them, all moving at a pace that suggested extreme confidence. "Don't take them lightly. They are made of Demon power. Dark magic. Only Hacking them into pieces and purifying the pieces before they reanimate will kill them." Kaelia said, her and Salogem moving out of the way. "You handle the Shadows. We'll take care of Ryaj." Kaelia instructed, and Salogem pulled off his necklace and clasped it between his hands. The angel glowed brightly, light shining out between his fingers. Kaelia's own pendant began to glow under her tunic, brighter and brighter as she powered up. She walked closer to her enemy, like a cat stalking it's prey. A black burst came from Ryaj right as Kaelia released a green burst. They met in midair, pushing against each other to reach it's target. While the energy fought, Kaelia summoned ivy and vines to crawl into the twoer room and they began to coil around Ryaj.

Keena sighed at the sight of the dark creatures. /Well, at least they're not Shadows./ he thought. The Siranians readied their swords as Tarya prepared his spells. Keena simply leaned against his sword, the point dug into the ground, one side blade reached almost to Itsaki's shin. He released a bolt of Timestream energy, and one of the shapes, a large, bristle-haired cougar, flinched, dropped to one knee, then stood and began its walking again. "Hmm." He hit it again, and again. Both times it simply stood back up. /Mak. Dyo. Naso. Makshik!/ He shouted in his mind. The creature stared, then dropped to the ground in a beam of light. Always worked. /Die. Cease. Light. Dead One./ in Siranian. The phrase took too long to recite, so he charged forward with his sword, slashed at one, then cut it apart savagely. If it had been living, there would have been plenty of blood. The other Siraninans soon joined him, and Tarya chittered frantically, his spells unable to keep up with the onslaught. One Siranian took a lethal blow to the shoulder, and he was pulled back by another, Itsaki tended to his wounds. He said something to the other Siranian, and he took over Itsaki's job as Itsaki withdrew both of his burning blades. It took some effort, but they finally got all of the dark creatures. Keena glanced at Kaelia and Ryaj, and rolled his eyes. Magic was a dainty business. Keena erected himself an energy shield, in case Ryaj wanted to redirect some of that flow, and walked to him. He held the massive sword out in front of him. "Cease, or die. Either way, you die."

As Salogem added power to Kaelia's magic, the energy balls grew bigger and brighter before imploding suddenly, vanishing without a trace. Ryaj pulled his sword and began hacking at the vines, with one hand while the other started forming black knots around Kaelia. As the net began to entrap her, she transformed into a dove and dashed out as Ryaj freed himself from the vines. "Damn child." He cursed as she landed and took elf form again. The pair continued their push and pull fight for many minutes, constantly dodging the other's traps and their energy matching perfectly. "I tire of these games." Ryaj growled, summoning a giant black shadow-warg. "I do as well." Kaelia summoned a matching warg, her of golden color. Throwing nearly all their strength into these creations, the wargs ensued battle. everytime they clashed together, bright light flared all around the room. Suring this battle was when Kaelia fixed the final trap. She kissed her palm, then clenched her fist. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath as her warg pinned down Ryaj's. Kaelia dashed forward suddenly, opening her palm and slapping her uncle. "Kiss of Death." She said, all of her energy flowing through her palm and into Ryaj's cheek. "Awww, you forgot to say goodnight, Uncle." She whispered to him. As his cheek began to turn to stone, he grabbed her wrist. "Goodnight, little niece. May love intwine a pair and bring both down!" He ended in a snarl, black magic surging up her arm. Kaelia released with a yell, her wrist now a mass of burning pain. "By the power vested in me, repel the Black." She mumbled, watching her uncle continue turning to stone with his own yells of pain. He grew quiet, then crumbled into dust. Ryaj dead, Kaelia focused all her remaining energy and that of the prince into fighting the black magic. Her arm was beginning to turn black and red, but it had stopped advancement at her shoulder. Salogem came over to her, placing his hand on her shoulder and running it down her arm. "You never were the healer." He said with a slight hint of humor. Her magic now backing his instead of the reverse, he used his healing magic to turn back the weakened black magic. When he reached her wrist, all the evil had pooled there, and finally Salo' extracted a black and red pearl of pure Black magic, leaving a marble-sized scar on Kaelia's wrist from where the crystalized magic had exited. Kaelia rubbed the scar; it would never go away. Magical scars were permanent. She turned and faced the others. "We won. With his death, all of his shadow guards we fought earlier will have disappeared." The elf girl promptly sat down, all of her physical and magical energy now expended. The battle may not have been flashy, but there had been a lot of power flying around in that room. as they two sorcerers tried to beat the other's will.

Keena leaned against his sword once more, Itsaki stood beside him, looking at Kaelia and her brother. "Well, my job here is done, I'd say." Keena said. Itsaki nodded stiffly as Keena vanished. Itsaki walked to Kaelia. He nodded to Salogem. "You must be the prince. My name is Kaia." Itsaki said to him. Anor slid into the room, his size a bit smaller so as to fit into the tower. 'Ah, welcome back, Prince Salogem.' Anor said, bowing his head in respect. 'Well, princess, I see we have helped to save your city.' He said to only Kaelia and salogem, but she would not know that. He wouldn't reveal anything to Itsaki unless she wanted him to. 'Now,' he broadcasted, 'I must leave for a short reprieve. My wings ache from constant withdrawl. I wish to be back for the ceremony, though.' Anor vanished.
