Garis sighed, then looked at the man. There was a moment of silence from Garis, then he closed his eyes. "As long as you can use a sword. Or a bow, something. If things go wrong, I don't want you assaulted from the wall if you can't defend yourself." With that said, Garis continued walking. So if you really want to come, hurry up." Garis made sure his sword was still where it was on his back, more for assurance. The last time they had gone to the capitol, many men had died. If more need to die today, Garis wouldn't hesitate to carry out his duty. Garis walked from the doors at the end of the hallway into the sunlight. He walked past the trees, towards the stable. "Jarrol!" The man shouted, and a moment later the green-clad man dropped beside him. "Going back?" Jarrol asked, though he already really knew the answer. Garis nodded once, continuing to the stables. "We're probably going again tonight."

Kyard quickly walked back into Minna's room and kissed her forehead before running out to the stables, getting a shirt on and mounting a horse. This horse was an older one, but just as strong and fast as one in it's prime. He waited outside the gates for the other men.
((Sorry, it's really short. Creative juices are like...negative one hundred...))

((Eh, my creative juices are up and down...))
Garis almost marched into the stables, his movements mechanical. He mounted his huge war stallion, and Jarrol mounted his own horse (rare), a smaller, more agile stallion, white with black up his face. Riding out the gates, Garis rode up beside Kyard. Pulling a sheathed sword from his saddlepack, he handed it to the man. "Use it well." Garis nudged his horse and it started up the path. Jarrol rode behind him, and the two charged down the road towards the capitol. "So we're just here to threaten the king again?" Jarrol asked as he rode up next to Garis. The large man nodded. "I don't think they'll give us a warm welcome after the last time we were there." "Which is why I said we're probably going back tonight."

Kyard nodded as he nudged the older paint into a full run. In only a small instant he was up beside the two other men. He listend, and left it at that.
Minna's eyes slowly opened; it was here she remembered what had happend. Her friend had passed. The one who had hoped for her, and helped her become someone. He was gone. "Oh Kyard, if only it wa-" She looked around. "Kyard?" She sat up and saw out of her window, the three of them riding off. "Oh God. No! NO!" She ran to the window and put her hands up on it. Why would Garis allow Kyard to go? It was too dangerous. She quickly ran outside to the gates and fell to her knees as she saw them disapear into the distance.

Jordan walked up behind Minna. He kneeled down and put a hand lightly on her shoulder. "Let them go, my dear. He's in good hands, don't worry." Jordan extended a hand for hers.
"Alright, Jarrol, I want you to hide your horse in the trees. Take to the trees the rest of the way to the city, then go over the walls. Hang out in the throne room. Do not be seen, do not be heard. If things don't go as we want them, kill a person. If I am not in the throne room in one half hour after your arrival, kill one person until the king allows me entry." Jarrol sighed. "Everyone always assumes that I can do all of these things." "Well, can you?" "It'll be a challenge, but I've done this type of thing before. Getting over the wall will be easy, but I don't know about any of the other stuff." Garis looked at the man. "Yeah, I can do it." "Alright. Kyard, You'll be with me the whole time. Try not to get too out of hand. No angry outbreaks, don't attack anyone, stuff like that."

Kyard nodded, and left it at that. He just wanted to help in any way he could, and he figured Minna could use some time alone, due to recent pressures. He hears Minna yell, although extremely faint. He briefly looked over his shoulder; saw her golden curls drifting over her shoulders as she fell to her knees. "Will she be alright, alone?"
Minna looked over at Jordan; her eyes were foggy with lack of sleep, her skin was pale, and her spirit was beyond low. She took his hand and looked back past the gate where three silhouettes drifted out of her sight. "I hope your right. If any of them get hurt, I swear on the earth that God himself made, I will seek revenge that no one has ever seen before. I will be sure that blood with be shed, and lives will be taken." Her hair shifted as the wind moved from east, to south.

Garis looked at Kyard. "Jordan's there, she'll be fine. Don't worry about her, I didn't train her to be helpless." Garis turned back to the front. He was silent until they reached where the small path met the main road in the forest. He nodded to Jarrol, and the slight man turned his horse into the underbrush, where it was quickly ot of sight in the thick growth. Garis could only see Jarrol's head, but even a moment later, that was gone. "Let's go." Garis rode out onto the rode, only a flash of green to show that Jarrol was in the trees.
"If they succeed, there will be bloodshed and lived will be lost. I guess we need not worry about that."

(HOLY WOW! 14 PAGES? *claps in excitment.* Sorry it took so long, been abnormally busy.)
Kyard couldn't help but smile. He knew that all too well. He had been in a few battles with her over time, both verbal and physical (on a training level of course). He had grown overly fond of her styles of combat; it was advanced, yet so gentle and surprising it would have any enemy confused. Perhaps that was part of the ploy right there, to confuse the other. He heard Garis say something, and he was off. Kyard kicked his heels into the horse and swoosh! They were off. No turning back now.
Minna looked at him, and, her eyes shifted from teh groggy state they were in, into something that was dark and malicious. She swore, deep down, that if anything were to happen to the men she had grown to love, one a father, and the other a lover, she would seek revenge on the soul that rid her of their company. Ever so slowly she stood up and stared off into the distnace. Her golden curls swirled about her face as a single tear caressed the pale, smooth skin below. It followed down her neck and was absorbed by the collar on her dress.

Garis kicked his horse into a quick gallop behind Kyard. It was a fairly quick ride to the castle, at this speed they would be there in only twenty minutes. As Garis let his horse steer itself, he pulled a large, rounded plate from a pack on his horse, strapping it to his left shoulder. It was heavy, but it was the shoulder he led with, and he had run into too many incidents with spearmen. Then he took a small knife, sliding it into a sheath concealed on the underside of the plate. Then he did the same with another and another. Three knives total fit underneath. Then he slid a slender knife in each of his bracers. That should do it. He strapped a longsword onto his back, his other blade at his hip. He wanted everyone there to see that he meant business and wasn't afraid to fight for what he wanted. But after the other night, he figured things probably wouldn't go as planned, but it was worth a shot.
Jordan looked at Minna, looking at her deep in the eyes. "They will be fine. Garis will make sure nothing is going to happen to them. Be calm." He said, wiping away the trail the tear left behind." Standing, he then said, "I know that look, I've often seen it on your father. That's a curse set upon someone. Do not worry yourself."

Kyard, for a moment, had worry settled into him. He was scared, none the less. He held on tight to the reins and tried to take a deep breath. What if he were to never see Minna again? He swallowed hard and shook his head a little. He looked at Garis. He was far more prepared than he was. Kyard didn’t have armor, or all the fancy equipment. The fear settled in even more now. “Uh…Is it normal to be a little scared, first time doing something like this?”
Minna stared at Jordan. “It’s all too easy for you to tall me not to worry, than it is for me not to. Kyard does not have the proper equipment. I want to talk to the black smith, so get him here. I want Kyard protected as if he were already king. And when he gets back…” She trailed off, and then looked at the direction they all took off to. “I will have a fiancé.” She looked back at Jordan again.

Garis could see the boy fidgeting. "Calm yourself, boy. And yes, it is perfectly normal to be afraid. Here, I have something for you. So that you don't go in looking like some stablehand, I went and got you this..." Garis reached to his side and began pulling out peices of silver armor. "It's not the armor you will begin wearing, it is just normal infantry armor, but it'll do for now." Garis handed the armor to the boy one by one, then looked forward once more. The trees were thinning, the farms on the outside of the city comeing into view. Beyond the flat land, the city walls and the keep could be seen. "Now, prepare yourself, and don't fret. I'll be here to protect you. If anything I'll protect you for Minna's sake."
Jordan smiled. "Well, then a regal king's armor I will have." Jordan whistled once, and from a rafter somewhere, a falcon appeared, setting on the man's outstretched arm. "Get the blacksmith, bring him here." The falcon cheered once, then flew off. "Alright, milady. I will be back in a moment. Please, I beg of you, do not leave these walls before I return." Jordan spun and walked away, walking to the solid gate that opened into the inner courtyard. Looking up, he said: "Hey Darko, you up there?" There was a pause, then from behind him, "Yes, sir. I am always there." It was a light voice, much as the man's feet. Jordan turned, pretending not to be spooked again by the man's sudden appearence in a place other than expected. Before him now was a man who was tall and lean, a man who could hide behind a sapling if he so wished to. A gray-green cloak hung behind him, but was large enough to cover all of himself, even if it was more subtle. A quiver of arrows showed at his back, his unstrung bow visible as well. A sword was at his hip, another at his back. His face showed several scars, his left hand showed an old, round scar from where he had his hand pinned to a tree by an arrow. He was quite young, maybe twenty two, though his appearance suggested he was closer to forty. "So what has my teacher gotten himself into now?" he said. "You always know what he's up to." Jordan replied. "Of course, I just make it seem otherwise." "Quit being a smart-ass, I would like to introduce you to the queen." It took a moment, but Darko's face lightened. "Fine." Jordan walked back over to Minna, Darko trailing behind. "Minna, this is Darko, Garis' best student." "Only student, actually. The other's quit. And it's really Jason, I just somehow acquired Darko as a nickname." Darko smiled. "But it's a pleasure to meet you." He said, bowing. "So do you need me for anything?"
There was a book once, written so long ago, but now it sat in a dusty old attic, lost from human eyes and the light of day. The door creaked open, and a head poked up from the sort of trapdoor seperating the dark space from humanity. The girl looked around, her bright eyes alight with curiosity, waiting to be sated in this new world cut off from civilization. She pulled her self up, carefully closing the hatch behind her. She lit the candle, and the dull flame illuminated the angled ceiling and bare walls, the dusty floor beneath her feet and the assorted clutter about her. But then her eyes fell onto a chest, a truly magnificant chest, with intricate little details and once shining gold trimming, but the red wood was now covered in dust, the gold now tarnished. She ran a finger over the edge, how seamless it was. She pushed back the lid, and inside found only a single book. It was a rather plain book to have been found in such a beautiful chest, but nonetheless she pulled the dust free gray book from inside. The girl sat on the edge of the chest, setting the book on her lap. She opened the cover, and began to read the first page. The trapdoor opened silently. "Miza, what are you doing up here?" the man asked, and the girl jumped, letting out a small yip. "I-I'm sorry, father, I was just curious, and then I saw this book, and then-" Miza scrambled, jumping up and putting the book back and closing the lid. But before she did, the man caught it, opening it back up. After a slight hesitation, he drew the book out, flipping pages. "Why, I..." Pensive, the man turned away, going back down the ladder from which he had climbed up from. He walked to his bedroom, and losed the door. He sat on the bed, still silent, still looking at the pages. Then he turned the page, and remembered the memories he had once forgotten, so long ago. His son, he had to find his son. ++ The girl climbed down the ladder slowly, and when her feet touched the wood, her father's door opened, and she saw an armored clad man bolt out. She ran to the room, but itwas empty. "Father?" She called, but he was gone. The man mounted his horse, an old warhorse getting near his final days. "Raine! Where are you going?" A woman shouted from the door. "I'm sorry, my love, I have to find our son." He nudged his horse forward, and into the forest he rode, clutching the book.
