Hunter locked his gaze on the fox, but said nothing. His indigo eyes were unblinking as he licked and nibbled at a sore paw pad. Bandit came down from the tree and grabbed a rabbit and began to nibble on it with great gusto, soft growls coming from the small creature's body.

Kale watched the blue thing with mild interest. He wasn't usually the talkative type and he nodded to Hunter but didn't say a word. He began to feel nervous. Should he say something? What to say though?

Chihir popped out of the hole and stretched lithely, yawning. He then proceeded over to the food pile and grabbed himself the marmot, then layed down by the den hole. Scenting food, Squirrel popped out as well, grabbed the rabbit, and began to gnaw on it right there. Lastly was Arrow, who came out and looked around. Seeing Kale, he wagged his tail slightly and went to get the badger, then sat down beside Kale. "Good morn! Care to share breakfast with me? How are you? I know, these guys are boring in the mornings." Arrow rolled his honey colored eyes, then ripped into the badger. "Good catch, Hunter!" "Mmph." Hunter grunted, closing his eyes.

Kale chuckled weakly at the eager wolf's antics. His head was killing him but he ignored it, though he did wince ever so slightly at Arrow's words. "No thank you, I feel no need to eat for some reason or another and I'm fine, thanks for asking, although my head does ache." He appraised the wolf's wounds. They appeared to be healing finely.

Arrow flattened his ears and immediately rolled onto his back and whispered, "I'm sorry! I'll be quiet! I promise!" Chihir glanced over at them, then likewise spoke softly, "We will rest around here or they day, then. We don't want to put you into anymore pain than is necessary." Chihir inclined his head at the pair, then resumed eating. Hunter growled, "But we must work depsite injury." Chihir jumped to his feet and glared critically at Hunter, "You can sacrifice your health all you want. Kale's life is his own, and we will not jeopardize it." Hunter dropped his head with irritation and ignored everyone again. The red/brown fox snorted, then sat down and resumed his meal.

The wolf was acting strange again. Kale almost broke out laughing, it propably wasn't comfortable on his back like that. He didn't want to make his pain that noticable but apparently Arrow was very perceptive. Chihir would stay behind for Kale, like he was part of their group and not just something tha got in there way or somone to help. They could very well leave and he would propably be just fine. He didn't know what to think besides to feel glad but he still didn't want to hold them back. He could walk, propably even run his head just hurt and he felt all... funny. He couldn't really describe it any other way. "No, I can move. My health is fine My head just hurts is all. I really don't want to hold any of you back."

Chihir blinked at Kale, "We don't want any of our pack members in any pain if we can avoid it." Hunter looked up again, glancing critically between Kale and Chihir. Arrow sat up again, tail wagging slightly. "Hunter loves to challenge authority to the point of irrationality." Arrow whispered knowingly. "I find that it is in my best interest to submit, especially if they are nice alphas. Chihir is a nice alpha."

Kale was confused as to what an alpha was but he decided he didn't want to ask right away. Maybe he would just remember like other things. He was astonished to hear that they considered him a part of the pack but he didn't let it show. "I am willing to move on. I will propably feel better as the day progresses." He said to Chihir.

"Very well. We head out after everyone is done eating." Chihir said, standing and stretching.
As soon as the group was ready to move about 20 minutes later, Chihir took note of each one. All were standing and seemed impatient to be on the move. "Move out." He said quietly, and they headed into the trees once more- Bandit by Chihir, Squirrel by Hunter, and Arrow by Kale. "Wonder what we are gonna run into today." Arrow said musingly to Kale, his big, ungraceful paws making more noise than the average wolf.
((Go ahead and make a plot here. I'm not feeling creative. ^_^))

Yuki rolled over on her back and yawned stretching out her muscles. A noise from her left made her put up her guard as she realized she was in uncharted territory. The fur on the back of her neck stood up and she warily looked around her surroundings. A soft breeze blew through the trees; her eyes widened as she caught a scent. She slowly began tracking the aroma, wanting to see who or what it was, just out of pure curiosity. Suddenly the scent got stronger; quickly she concealed herself in the bushes waiting to observe them.

As the troupe walked along, Bandit began to fall behind as usual- sticking his nose into holes, slashing trees and other such nonsense. Soon he veered completely off course and wandered into the brush, tail flicking the air wildly and nose whuffling. A white form in the brush caught his eye, and with a yip of joy, he pounced at it.
Chihir paused for a moment, taking note of their surroundings. "Uh, Squirrel? Where's Bandit?" Squirrel glanced around quickly, then let out an exasperated sigh, "Dammit. Why can't that rodent sit still?"

Yuki let out a yelp of surprise as something jumped on her. She stood up quickly, pushing it off of her and looking at the fox cub curiously. She began to inch back slowly, ready to run, hoping that she would be able to get away if anything happened.

Kale noticed something really unusual was going on. He didn't know why but he felt somone else was around. It turned out that Bandit was gone... but it was strange. Then he heard a yelp, a fox yelp, not in pain but in surprise. Without warning to Chihir or the gang he bolted towards the sound knowing that the source of commotion was obviously where the blue cat/fox thing. He quickly took in the scene. Bandit was obviously pestering some poor fox. "Bandit! Why are you pestering her?" He shooed the blue, lets-call-it-a-fox away from the distressed bystander. "Sorry about that, Bandit is a little obtuse at times. I'm Kale." This was the most outgoing he had been that he could remember. Wierd.

The others followed the sound-and Kale- at a much more languid pace. Bandit commonly upset the other residents if the area, and quite frankly, the group was getting tired of apologizing for the chaos that the runt always caused. Chihir halted the group upwind of the pair of foxes and Bandit, deciding to see what Kale would do while they remained well hidden but within quick reach in case trouble broke out.
Bandit yelped as Kale chased him away from the fluffy. He thus started running in circles and yapping like a chihuahua to show his profound irritation to this situation. At least he wasn't quacking.
